Pop one in your mouth, let it disolve, do not chew them.. they are much better that way.
I'm not sure how old I was...all I can remember is the manor in which I found out.
I was very little...you see...I was scared of the Tooth Fairy. One day, I had a little talk with my parents. They finally told me the Tooth Fairy wasn't real to ease up some tension. Then, I was like, "Then is the Easter Bunny real?" My dad smiled and said, "No." I was on a roll. So next I said, "Is Santa Real?" My mum was already mad at my dad for telling me about the Easter Bunny and gave him the evil glare, so my dad just smiled at me and laughed. Then I said, "AHA! I KNEW IT!"
_______
Now, my cousin found out that Santa wasn't real when he was probably only four or five. My uncle is the type that always has to be right and must always have attention and get all the credit. Well, he did not think it was fair that he and my aunt were spending their own money on presents and did not get any recognition at all because they were from "Santa." He finally couldn't take it anymore with his self-centeredness, and told my cousin that Santa wasn't real.
I think that's just so pathetic that it's funny.

When my son was around 6 we were out having supper one night near Christmas and he looked at me from across the table and said "Mom, alot of kids in my class say that there isn't any such thing as Santa Clause. Is that true?" I sort of gave my husband a sidelong glance, and I decided I didn't want to lie, since he'd asked me point-blank, and that I'd come clean with Chris. I looked at him and smiled, and said "Christopher, I'm your Santa Clause." He looked at me wide-eyed and said "How do you get to all of those houses in one night???"
When my nephew was young, about 8, I had an evil streak and told my brother we were going to solve the "Santa" issue once and for all, I would dress as Santa on Christmas Eve and bring their gifts, and my brother would "Shoot me" with his paint gun with Red paint, of course Killing Santa. we had a couple buddies in the police force that would have backed up the illusion and stuff... but my brother being the "GOOD BOY" couldn't do it, so he lied to my nephew for a while longer.. myself I thought it was a good idea, Kill Santa and then out of remorse continue to buy presents himself... it was sooo simple it would have worked.. HEHEHE

You really speak to your mother that way? Especially at 10 years old? Hmmm...
