Good thing Santa doesn't exist.
I was wondering why Santa never brought presents to poor kids in Africa. I thought he was one racist fat son of a bitch.

Actually, I was quite resentful towards Christmas when I was little because there was always only one row (or less) or Chanukkah items and decorations, when the rest of the store was filled to the brim with red and green. That's OK, Dana.
There's still Mr. Hanky the Christmas Poo. He brings presents to kids of all religions, as long as they have fiber in their diet.

uhm... very early I guess. First there was a contradiction between my parents who said Santa was coming, and my grandma (RIP) who said there was the Angel coming. Then they would make me stay in my room - with an adult keeping me from geting out (seriously, how stupid could I be to fall for that? xD), and after the presents were under the tree (I never waited till morning - so Santa always comes at about 7 or 8 on 24th's evening for me - Sonia Claus makes very nice presents), they would ring a bell. (c'moooon did they really think they would fool me???)
Oh, one time my grandpa (RIP), dressed in Santa, but he got busted in the first minute when I recognized his shoes. xD
Of course, for my parents' sake, I pretended to believe them, and would write letters n stuff. But I always knew my presents a few days before. THere was no hiding place for me to miss out.

my parents had the perfect foil to finding presents... they held my cousins gifts and my Aunt held ours, and on Christmas Eve we would go to their place for dinner and oddly my dad and Uncle would leave for more egg nog.. EVERY YEAR.. of course they were switching gifts.. and WE knew what we were SUPPOSED to get and surprise, we never saw those presents until we went to our cousins.. and wow.. they had the same stuff we saw.. but by that time we had forgotten about it so we never put 2 and 2 together.. until later in life
sheesh... these parents... xD
