Christian was probably in my top 5 favourite wrestlers. Although he did have many shining moments, tag team champions with Edge multiple times, his fued with Edge which got him the IC title, and overall his push in 2001 was awesome.

But, he never became a main event wrestler. That really baffles me, he was an excellent wrestler and was great on the mic, he had everything it took to be a champion. The only thing maybe not on his favour was his size, which to me makes no difference, but i think it does to other wrestling fans and probably the writers of the WWE as well.

I don't think becoming TNA champion is going to do much justice to his career, he deserves much, much more....
I agree, but he lives in Orlando, where TNA is based now...so what other choice does he have in the States, upon leaving WWE?

He could go to Japan maybe....I wish him all the best.

Please realize that most pro wrestling fans are drunk ass, lonely, undersexed losers between ages 15 and 30.

People like BTD and Me are people who appreciate the art.
Hopefully he'll get a main event push there and the NWA World Title, show Titan what they're missing...

Criminally under-rated at WWE in my opinion.
Are you f*cking serious?

Thats another great example of how people who couldnt make it in WWE are jumping ship to TNA.

And what the fuck is with their ring? Its a squared circle, not a hexagoned circle. if Hexagoned is even a word.

Anyone lucky enough to watch ECW back in the 90's? Long before the TNN deal. Lots of stars made a name for themselves. Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cactus Jack, Raven, the list goes on. ECW, IMO, created the hardcore gerne if wrestling.

A classic WWE mark. Next you will be saying how John Cena and Batista are the greatest wrestlers of all time.

HAHAHAHA! THATS FUNNY! GOOD ONE!

Cena and Batista are good, you cant deny that. Great? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh no.

If you want great, go to people like Triple H, Ric Flair, maybe Kurt Angle, The Rock (as much as I hate to say it), Austin, ect..

Cena and Batista have one (world) title reign apeice. Flair has 16. Hogan has 12. Triple H has 10. They are the greatest wrestlers of all time.

Cena and Batista suck.

I was purely making the point that Christian was not used properly there (WWE) and will hopefully get his rewards at TNA.
Yeah i also think it's a slap in the face to people like Booker T, Chris Beniot, Edge, RVD, Matt Hardy and even Val Venis, who have been at the WWE a lot longer and have collected good track records, some of these guys mentioned haven't come close to getting anywhere near the WWE world titles, unlike Batista and Cena, who to me are nothing special in the ring.

The two of them are prime examples of WWE over pushing certain superstars and giving their most prestigious titles to guys who should be midcarders in my opinion.

Well, Benoit held the World Title (old WCW belt in WWE) for a while, before Triple H got it...again...

Booker T would have made an good champion, but like RVD I think his time has been and gone.

Unfortunately this has been going on for ever at Titan, with numerous wrestlers who could have carried the company as World Champion but never got the belt put on them, in some cases never a title shot - guys like Ted Dibiase, Curt Henning, Bam Bam Bigelow, etc...
Well we can also thank people like Hulk Hogan and Triple H for not letting these people get the title!

Hulk Hogan wouldn't drop the title to Mr.Perfect because he didn't think Curt could could carry the WWF title, i mean, how much bs is that. Yeah Hulk is great etc etc, but he should have dropped the title to Perfect rather than the Ultimate Warrior in 1990.

I think DiBiase was going to get the title, but because Wayne Ferris wouldn't drop the IC title to Randy Savage, they decided to give Randy Savage the world title instead, so that isn't really the same i guess, although they could have given him the title later on after 1988.

These days it's just the same, Triple H's motto is 'if i drop the title, i get it back in 2 months time', he should learn to pass the torch in a more respectful manner.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love....
you're right about Dibiase, that's how the Million Dollar belt got invented....

When Henning lost the IC Title to "The Hitman" at Summerslam 1991, that's when he should've got his push, but instead he became the manager of Ric Flair and did that for over a year...what a waste.

Bigelow should have had a run but he never got pushed, he was over with the fans and incredibly agile and talented for a man his size. Around 1992-1993, he should've had one of the belts.
Anyone remember Giant gonzales, that is when i got bored of wrestling, he was so slow and just walked round the ring like a mummy who had shit itself, god bless yokozuna argh BONZAI!!!!
purples a fruit
Giant Gonzalez? yes.... :( Having been a former basketball player he went to WCW as El Gigante and bombed there...so he went to WWE as Gonzalez and bombed there too.

Memories of his match with Undi' at WM 9 still haunt people to this day.
Wrestlemania 9 makes me cry..........
Some good matches on the card but what a dire event, no wonder WCW was gonna beat WWE in the years to come....
How was it possible to have such a bad event with stars like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Ted DiBiase, Undertaker etc.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love....
I saw Wrestlemania 1 to 13, and thought 9 was the worst of them all. 11 was bad, but not as bad as 9.

Yokozuna's credibility went right down the toilet when he held the belt for about 2 minutes....
