I do admit there is quite a lot of crap on this board, but then again, it's not hard to ignore it. If you don't like a thread, don't post in it or don't look at it. The personal section is going to have it's ups and downs from time to time but that's just the way it is. The only problem with these forums are the spammers who delightfully share their views with us from time to time, and they are usually dealt with.

Ironic how many express 'wishes', and others read it as 'demands'. Most are well aware of who owns the board, the rules, etc.......we are simply making comments and 'wishes'.
As to 'moderation'....yes, it does exist. When the Qzone female version of Ted Baxter (still wondering if she owns anything other than the GH CDs and videos) reported as 'news' of 'A Knight's Tale' being broadcast on ABC, I offered a bit of news. Such as the fact that this movie has been shown countless times on other networks over the years here in the States. (TNT, TBS, ABC Family, FOX, FX, etc). It's hardly news.
The post doesn't show in the news section.

Quite frankly this board has sunk to an all time low for me. I have been on this site since 1997 and there have been highs and lows. This is the low point.
I have no problem with new fans. That's great. We don't need marquee banners in peoples names, we don't need topics about rape parties with Roger. We don't need a gazillion topics about the sexiest Queenzoner.

Good post, Barb. I agree with you, although I admit I have been absent a great deal (and that's due to the state of the board, honestly) and that I don't put any effort in keeping the board together like I used to.
I do believe what you say is true, though, and that a lot of people should be thankful that they even have this board to come to.
