Freddie's parents were assholes!!!

To Queen fans,
From what I have read, it seems to me that Freddie's parents were not good parents at all. In the first place, it appears that he was left at a boarding school in India where his parents very rarely visited him. It was almost like he was an orphan. I guess that his parents also didn't really care that he was being abused by some of the male school teachers at the time.
When Freddie became successful his parents were still assholes. He wanted to buy them a nice house, but they refused. When Freddie's lover, Jim Hutton came to their house, he noted that they did not have any pictures of Freddie on the wall or anything. Freddie was also not able to tell them that Jim was his lover. I guess that they were pretty homophobic. Then in an interview one time, the interviewer suggests to Freddie that his parents must be at least proud of him. But Freddie did not think that they really were happy for him. It seems so sad to think that his parents could not even be proud of him, maybe because they knew that he was gay or bisexual.
oh lord i dont know where to start
ok ill start with HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHahaha

Maybe...she's like...a dog or something. And that's what she's really trying to tell us. And we have to do something, so she can be a human again.
Creativity can always cover for a lack of knowledge.
That post seems pretty rediculous. To say that his parents didn't approve of his lifestyle does not mean that they didn't love him as their son. Many parents would rather their child not be gay, or a rock star either for that matter. But they don't disown them. The fact that his mother was at the Sheffield show indicates that she had some degree of pride in his career.

Didn't Brian say Freddie's mum was "a sweet old lady that Freddie was terrified of?"

Wheres the proof of this??
Did Freddie tell you himself??
And the fact that they didnt have many pictures of Fred around or the fact that they sent him to boarding school doesnt count. Many people send their children to boarding schools.
And how many people at that time actually approved of a gay lifestyle?? or for this time for that matter...
And why would she go to award shows (RnR HOF) and the Sheffield show if she didnt love him??

Close enough. I knew it was one of the two.

and yet, after all the horrible things they did to Freddie, his mum still turned up to see the Q+PR concert! if she really thought so little of him, you would think she wouldn't have come. I mean, Brian dedicated 'love of my life' to her, she might have changed...dramatically
