it is a simple song....and anyhow....you surely can't love everything queen did? that woudl show either blinkered loyalty beyond the realms of comprehension...or an aural taste bypass

hey linda, everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Just because they dont love everything about someone or something doesnt mean that they arent a "real fan."
As for me, I love the solo, it gets me going. Its still amazing how he did it even though its like 6 different guitar parts

I think the guitar solo on that rocks!!

it isn't as good as most of his other solos' but it doesn't suck either...

I was thinking exactly the same. If you don't like it, deal with it. Alot of members have the odd song they're not particularly keen on.... but there is no need to shun their work with aggression, dear.

Actually, I do love everything Queen did. That makes me a stepford, or something? does it? Or does it just make me a fan who really loves Queen?

I couldn't care less because at least I'm not the one who's getting hung up on the way an album was recorded, or a particular bass line that wasn't great, or a simple guitar solo that isn't AMAZING (so what? it works)

There are people who like to analyse the stuff they hear.
Thinking about how it is produced, why does it sound good or doesn't, thinking about creativity and so on...
And there are other who don't think about it.
I am more interested in people who do care.
