Roger wrote it??? I am surprised and a little bit worried...
Brian's mental state explains a lot...
I don't intend to impress. I like to play nice tunes.
Can you tell me the thread of your and the others works?

Okay...
Whip out Larry Carlton's Kid Charlamagne for me and post it by 3pm today.
SERIOUSLY:
How to become a fan of The Invisible Man guitar solo in three easy steps:
(1) Remove "The Miracle" from your CD Player
(2) Place "The Invisible Man" CD Single into said player and cue up the 12 inch version.
(3) Remove TIM CD single and place "The Miracle" back into the player and cue up Track 5.
Enjoy!

I would love to. Unfortunately, piccoto (I think that was his name) and myself used Rapidshare to host our clips, they'd be long gone by now.
I'd love to start a new thread as long as we get more than 2 people this time!

I must add, what I also wanted was for musicians of *all* kinds to add stuff to the thread, and I figured if we had a good guitarist, a drummer, a bass player and a singer, we could've compiled something simple like Tie Your Mother Down and put it on the stage of champions or something... heh.
Funny thing is, we weren't just uploading audio, we were uploading video. Heck, the finished song would have it's own video, there's a thought :D

We will rock you solo is a great solo.It fits the song and it's easily Brian's most recognisable solo ever.
You'd be surprised actually. I think the 'most recognisable solo' award goes to Killer Queen or Bohemian Rhapsody.
The latter is obvious, as soon as I start playing that anywhere, people start singing it. But with Killer Queen you'd think "NAH nobody would recognise that". Not so. I've ran into a few non-Queen fans who've been able to hum the KQ solo.

@zebonka
Hello,
I find your idea excellent.
This is something for real Queen-Fans.
TYMD is nice. I'd also like to do the Queen-Song par excellence: Bohemian Rhapsody.
The problem is at the moment I am afraid that I haven't got enough time to do a whole more complex song.
But parts of it I could do anytime.

See yeah.
There's musicians all over this forum in all fields. I reckon, different bits could be recorded, and someone with a bit of brains could mix it together and make something spiffy.
I chose TYMD because it's not so hard. Bohemian Rhapsody would be a hoot, but for that opera bit in the middle.
But yeah; no time to do it in! I'm sorta busy at Music TAFE having to write an 'original' song, so I won't be able to do anything like this just now.
BUT definitely an idea for the future.
Rock on!

I think it's a cool solo, and I would give my right arm to be able to play guitar like that (well, that's a pretty dumb thing to say but you get my drift) and as for We Will Rock You, come on! How is that a dumb song? It's a bloody classic! Everyone knows that song.
My favorite solo has to be Somebody to love.I love the way it just flows so effortlessly in the middle of the song.
YES I'm glad someone mentioned Somebody to Love. Though it's not too hard to play, it's all in the timing and I think Brian got it perfect the first time. I still find it a little tricky getting the timing right in that solo - I'm pretty sure STL was the loosest song they ever did.
