I bought a video from an eBayer in Ireland - Queen Hyde Park 1976 http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c138/carboengine/aqhydepark.jpg http://i26.photobucket.com/albums/c138/carboengine/aqhydepark2.jpg It was described as being professionaly filmed. It has a QTV symbol in the right lower corner, and in the left lower corner is a running video recorder time clock. The picture and the sound quality are minimum good, as advertised on eBay, so I am ok with what I received. It is always great fun to see yet another version of Freddie and all. At the end of the concert are some miscellaneous add-ons - one being a TV interview with Jim Hutton - what a sweetheart! I was very impressed with him. I paid not much for the video - I think the postage was more than the item. My questions to Queenzone experts:
. The video cover shows Freddie in his red and white striped shorts, but he does not wear those shorts in this concert. (Duh, someone out there is messing with covers/video.) However, I am curious to know during what tour/what concert(s) did Freddie wear these shorts? I have seen a lot of pictures of the shorts, but I have never seen a live episode.
. What is QTV?

- Freddie wore those shorts during the A Day At The Races tour in 1977. Too bad, we only have got pictures. No video material is known yet. You can see John is playing his MusicMan Stingray-bassguitar, that's the proof of it, really. He began to use it during the Races tour, but not on the early shows. Video of Uniondale proofs this. He probably used it only for the European gigs and the latter American gigs, such as Los Angeles 1977.

- Hyde Park isn't offically released. Yes, there is better footage available. It's in the archives of QueenProductions. It also depends on what kind of generation your video is. Your video is probably 7th or 8th generation copy or something like that. And it's just a copy of the bootlegvideo, not the mastertape!
