Oh it's Kurgan's version, yes, that one is nice, but the QTV logo version has better picture quality.[/QUOTE]
Yep. that's probably one of my many DVDs I've made over the years..
I used to take an SVHS recorder with me to convention, but once it moved from Prestatyn, they stopped showing the good stuff :(

Yes, your video has IMHO better PICTURE quality, but Kurgan's "logo-less" version has less audio problems and of course no QTV logo :)

I think the video looks about the same on both. Brians wig's SHVS > DVD and Kurgan's Betamax > DVD. Kurgan's version is higher bitrate judging by size of disc. Kurgan's version has slight edits where source tape was damaged and is also logo free. Kurgan also lists FULL logo free broadcast of Buenos Aires '81 at TTD.
Yes, I have Buenos Aires too and I again think that Brians wig's QTV version has again better picture quality :-) I'll try to post some comparison samples this weekend
^ Is it latest kurgan transfers you have? He did them again with a better dvd recorder.
Perhaps the size of your discs will tell you if you have the latest versions if you compare them with his listings at TTD.

No, I have the first one only (I think)
^ That would explain it then.
I think the Paris '79 on Yeeshkul! could be a later version as it matches (in size) the one at TTD.
It is still being seeded at Yeeshkul! by the looks of it.
The sizes of later QTV (logo free) versions by Kurgan appear to be:
Paris '79 - 4.18GB
Buenos Aires '81 - 4.27GB
