thanks for that Donna
you know
i am a Queen fan from the 70s, lived , breathed, ate slept them, you all know what i mean
i was a Bad Company Fan, love Pauls voice
when this collaboration happened, WOW what a BLAST!
i saw QPR in Worcester and Uniondale, if finances allowed I would follow this tour to the end, especially in Vancouver, but that wont happen so I am thankful I saw them when I did
and i swore that if Paul toured solo, I would go see him again
when I saw the FOxwoods date, I couldnt believe my eyes
when i went yesterday to get the tickets, well, the theater only holds 1400 people and I bought good tickets, the best so I can see him up close and personal
I dont care about his finances, its not my business, he is an amazing singer and performer,Brian has obviously endorsed his solo dates by posting them on his website and I am counting the days to see him on May 20th, which is the day before my birthday
wouldnt miss it for the world
theres just so much time wasted on should he have, why did he.....whatever, he is a performer, doing what he loves, with Queen, Bad Company, solo, whatever,,,
its gonna be great
Money has nothing to do with why Paul has continued to pursue his solo work. It is part of who he is as a person. He creates his own music and has done so for over 35 years. Q+PR is just one stop on his musical journey. There may be more Q+PR but if there isn't then I'm glad I got to see them twice.
It is not an insult to Queen or Queen fans.
I hope he'll play a casino near me.
amen to that teleman
In the words of that PCP-fiend, convicted Felon Rodney King...

...wait--what the "F" did he say, again...?
Queen on vinyl rules!
What are you smoking stateside fan?? Do you actually think Rodgers is the first musician ever to tour solo while his band is taking a break. Happens every day. Pick any band from any generation, members always working on side projects and solo projects in their down time...the Stones, Who, Floyd, Genesis, Aerosmith, Matchbox 20, Eagles, DMB, Crue, Van Halen, Zeppelin, Skynyrd, STP....shall I continue? Musicians are creative souls. When they're not in studio or on the road, they're usually in studio or on the road. Get it?

Look, if you don't like Rodgers, that's understandable, not everyone does. But don't knock a musician for taking his craft to his audience.

Amen to that! My wife and I had such a blast in Worcester that we too are going to Foxwoods to see Paul play all his classic killer tunes! I went to Worcester for Queen and was so impressed by their performance and Paul's energy that another taste, although without Brian & Roger, will be a wonderful event in itself.
Gimme Gimme Gimme Fried Chicken!
I actually prefer that Paul said this....as he told VH1 "I am not the lead singer of Queen, that would be Freddie Mercury, I am simply filling in because Freddie isn't here."

Enough said.
Having a smoking area in a restaurant is like having a pissing section in a swimming pool

stateside fan,

Your attempt to portray Paul Rodgers as some kind of selfish, money-grubbing opportunist is truly sad.

You clearly do not know Paul, or anything about what kind of person he is.

As someone who does know him, I can tell you that you are so far off-base with this thread that it isn't even funny.

Shit-stirring for the mere sake of it is not a good thing.
