i was thinking about that maybe silly question, - maybe it's just confusing at all.

did freddie infected with aids by jim hutton? or jim hutton by freddie?

or did they both infected anywhere else and came together like "you have it, i have it, well then we'll have no difficulties in our sexual life"?

But it does seem like Jim is one of the rare batch of people who don't develop AIDS at ALL. It's to do with a single gene, a certain mutation of which prevents one from getting AIDS. Interestingly, genetic/historic research has shown that that same gene protected people from the Plague in the dark ages.

usually, i don't like these topics , but -
it's proven an interesting topic, without the usual "carcrash rubbernecking mentality" that many similar topics cause, it's been sensitively worded and also caused some genuine reasoned discussion about HIV and why some do/don't get AIDS - so the whole topic has proven itself worthy

they started usin condoms as a precaution in case Jim didnt already have it , Freddie didnt want him gettin it but then they found out it was too late and Jim had got it.Sad!
