And now back to Nathan's stories....
Uh, actually, no. I have the gut feeling people are already getting tired of me.

Chapter 3 - 'To the Drawing Board, lads!'
OK, this is even dafter than all the other stories.
As part of our assignment, we were asked to measure each other with a measuring tape and then to transfer our results to paper using an accurate scale.
Sounds harmless, right? Well the Dirty Dozen (that's my class, including me) had other ideas and so we deliberatley starts creating wacky portraits of each other. I ended up looking like a cross between a pirate and Rooster Cogburn.
But that was a relatively minor act compared to what the other guys did. There were several guys with one leg (one guy even had his leg in the middle of his body, making him look like a human pogo stick), slim guys mysteriously gaining a 'few' extra pounds, one guy singing the opera section of Bohemian Rhapsody, one guy looking like a zombie and in retaliation for the interesting image of myself, I gave my partner a long, thin neck and a shield shaped body (obviously he doesn't have that)
Did it stop there? No, no, NO. We then had to transfer our portraits to our PCs (cue collective groans and a few sniggers)
Oh, that just did it for us. I ended up with a huge square body and a decidedly mechanical appearance, my partner ended up being just a big blob with no arms, and there were several other robots.
We then had to stick them on the wall, displaying them to the whole world, where they remain to this day.
PS: If anyone's starting to think I'm losing my marbles, I'm not. All these stories I'm telling you REALLY HAPPENED. There, that will give me the confidence I need to carry on with my quest.
Coming up next...thread halted indefinitley while I get my thinking cap on. And what delightful events may be awaiting me this week? Whatever happens, you will be the first to know...only on...

Chapter 4 - 'Mathin, Mafin or Marzin?'
A little appetizer, I think. I don't know why I'm still doing this (probably for my own amusement and the amusment of anyone who likes these stories)but here goes:
There's the lad in my group (we don't really call them classes anymore) called Mathin who everyone (excluding me) seems to take pleasure in winding up. He takes it all on the chin, like the strong guy he is, but some of the things do warrant a mention in this interesting thread.
First off, there's the eternal confusion about his name. On his file it says 'Mathin' so that is how I and the tutors pronounce it but other people either say 'Marzin' or 'Mafin' (?)
Then there's the high-pitched voices. Just when we're all working away, one of my classmates who has a really high-pitched voice will suddenly shout out 'MAAAARZIN!!!' or another guy will go 'ALRIGHT, MAFIN?!' bearing in mind of course that this is when we're supposed to be doing either work or tests.
But before any of you think I'm taking advantage of his misfortune, I should say that they do it to me to. As in: 'ALRIGHT NATH???'
This will be my last post. Gosh, I feel like such an idiot. I don't know what made me even start this thread. It started off so well, but then it delved down to the depths of insanity.
*Goes off with a very red face*
