see thats the thing, all i needed was to hear that it was a good guitar from here, ive heard it from everywhere else, when im going to buy something like this i am going get as much info as possible.
And that thing with Guyton and google- i didnt know that, whenever i hit search its always some other crap even if i try and search it using other keywords.
I found the main site and i read it, thats what made me think that Guyton was the one but the thing is, (i dont know if you know this but) sites that are trying to sell its own products usually only state the positive. So knowing the information about the Guyton version, I went to other places, guitar teachers and guitar based forums to ask around. Thats what smart people do- they ask around as much as possible to come to the best conclusion.
QZ was the last place i asked and i heard all posistive feedback.

So your paying for 75% of it from the money you get from your job err, What job is that out of interest? because we are obviousely paying our juniors way too little here.

Well I gotta say, if it's better than the Burns, then it's pretty frigging good. I was playing the Burns today, I *finally* figured out some nice pickup settings on the damn thing. I haven't had a chance to really play with it until this afternoon and I'm chuffed! What a fucking brilliant instrument, I hope you rock the neighbours with your Guyton.
"The Guyton Red Special comes with a unique owner’s presentation package. First off, there’s a fabulous book with photographs of the specific numbered guitar being put together by Andrew Guyton. In the inside flap are a signed certificate of authenticity, and an owner’s “logbook”. Apparently, Brian May wanted a record of who owns these guitars. If my kid wanted a Red Special they'd be looking at a Burns so they could put some money aside for school.
