If you have been researching the Guyton for a year (and how would you do this WITHOUT finding the official site? It's contradictory to logic), why on earth would you wish that the Burns was still made? How does a $600 guitar get on the same page as a $6000 (minimum) one?

The unofficial Burns to which I believe PG refers is the one from a little company known as "Brian May Guitars." When his relationship with Burns ended, Brian's company took over production of the same guitar. He's discussed this somewhat regularly on his web site. I have a Burns London model and a Brian May Guitars model, and they are virtually the same guitar. One says Burns London on the headstock, the other doesn't. Both have Brian's signature (printed on the headstock.) They both sound great and look terrific, although I do my best to make them sound awful with my limited skills.

While we're on about Red Specials, I gave my Burns it's first ever public performance today. After we'd done our songs, I turned up the amp to 11 and we played We Will Rock You. This fucking guitar *rocks*!
