My original post was more or less like this:
I thought (and still think)that publishing these videos on the internet violates the personal rights of the child. I did not say anything about Dutch law because I really do not know but in Germany it's not allowed to publish images of minors without consent (they are under special protection of the law to avoid paparazzi to make a quick buck from "celebrity kids")
Just for the record and because someone sent me a message about it: I did not try to censor anything and I did not ask Stefan to delete the videos or the links. However, I have an opinion and I have the same right to post my opinion like anybody else here:
I do think that posting these videos shows zero respect for Freddie's privacy. I think it's disgraceful to publish private video footage that was obtained because the people in question trusted the guy who filmed it. It's a breach of trust for anyone, nor only a so called "celebrity".

I don't know have, two different times on rapidshare and on you tube one is 1 min 54 another is more or less 0.34 seconds. Why?

I agree 100% with you. It does not matter that Freddie is dead, they should still remain private. Leaking of these videos and posting of them online is shameful IMO.

Given that the x-mas video had nothing remotely embarrassing, and the poster was sharing material for the general interest of most queenzoners, I think that the calls to remove the link was overwrought.

It almost appears that TRS was bullied into deleting the link, but no explanation is available. It would have been nice if the thread could have remained unedited so that perhaps some explanation for the deleted link would be available.

The video is clearly a private video. I am quite sure that it was never meant to be shared. Freddie was an extremely private person. I find it virtually impossible to think that he would like to see these moments shared for the entire world to see.

I see both sides of the coin...the privacy thing I understand, and it definately was really not made to be shared, but it is nice to see another side of Freddie that alot of us may not really know about him. I do agree that certain content (i.e. anything sexual in nature...but this is clearly not the case) should not be shared, but that video is nothing but nice!! Forgive me, but props to TRS-Romania for sharing this...and I agree with the other statement that if you don't care to watch it, then you certainly don't have to.
I do not recall any complaints about the "fuck off and die you fag" recording at the garden lodge being shared, or the private recordings with Caballe at the Garden lodge being released on the FM box set. I'm sure that these private unpolished recordings were not meant to be heard either.
I would agree with both sides (especially with Mike's point about those Garden Lodge tapes and with Barbara's point about privacy of that boy), so my opinion is: that's okay to share this file on QZ - for Freddie's fans, but that's wrong to share it over public YouTube...
