I have found at my school all the other year 7ers think Queen is a shit band, and yet they wont listen to me when i say that they wrote We Are The Champions and We Will Rock you, It Really PIsses me off!!! grrrrr.
P.S:I was looking through the library instead of studdying and i found Queen in all the rock classic type of books :P, But everyone thought I was a freak coz I was looking for them...

That's the way it has always been with Queen. Freddie was always controversial and never compromising. The fans love him but a lot of people never did get him. You should be glad you understand the brilliance and genius of Queen. Nevermind those who don't.
Youngsters only seem to listen to music that is 'cool' and think any old band are a 'shit' band sometimes. By old I mean from 60's, 70's and 80's. I think it is a very short-sighted view to take. Just ignore those idiots and listen to Queen. You know they aren't shit!
I'm actually finding that older bands like Queen, Beatles, Led Zep etc. are becoming some sort of a "fashion". Even last year people looked at me like I was crazy when I said i liked Queen. Now, people seem to think it's cool that I like old bands.

People at my school think I'm gay or something because I listen to Queen. And 90% of everyone at my school listen to death metal or something like that.

Well thats normal, that's taste in music, you should be proud of what u listen, Queen is a great band with fantastic music my friend, ignore what people say.
