People around me seem to have unlimited breathing skills, including lungs, when it comes to shitting the name of Queen. They just HAVE to bug me. I just tell them to "back the fuck off" , But of course, If that don't work, I just use my girly charm to tell them to Shut the fuck up...for example

hey Im new here but I saw this and I felt 1) insulted lol and 2) like I had to say something about it: I'm an 18 year old girl from Venezuela (I'm latin american) and definitely I can see that things here are much different than in other countries... so I looove Queen, I used to run around my house with a cassette XD with Bohemian Rhapsody on it when I was like 4... at a time when I didn't speak english at all... and here we don't see those differences like oh Queen is a gay band... damn that's a ridiculous thing to say isn't it? here we just consider Queen like a great band, some people like it, some people love it, some people don't, some people don't even know about them... that's how it is... and another thing, we young people are NOT all dickheads who don't know about music... first, music to me is universal and should be respected, even when sometime we don't like some styles or messages or we think something is or isn't music, I personally believe in that statement. Also there are great groups right now as there were great groups back then, so music is to me, timeless... so, Queen is definitely NOT shit... whoever who says it is because they aren't able to enjoy them (most of my friends from the university who I say "hey you should hear it", they like it because they're not just one style, they're always different) so just don't pay attention to them... they just don't get it... and I'm not gay, my friends aren't gay, and my gay friend doesn't like rock XD what can I say! sorry for making my first post so long!

It doesnt matter how long the post is dear! just how much sense you make really, or or how much thought and truth is in it.

I think the world would be a much nicer place if people just stopped using the world "gay" as an insult.

I find it ironic that people who are actually unbiased against people's race/sexuality still use "gay" as an insult/slam.
