I too think the Freddie 'Solo' box is a great product. I think it's better and more detailed than most, if not all, the others out there for other artists. There was a small and dedicated team of us on that project, and we cared a lot. I think it's a really intriguing insight into Freddie's studio work. I'm glad you guys like it, and I'm pleased you feel able to say so too - despite the inevitable end result of being slated by other Moanzone bores. Good on ya for saying what you think. Screw them! What do they know anyway.

The book includes the Wigg interviews, yes, the best and most interesting stuff. Not only from the audio interviews we have (highlights of which appeared on the 73 minute CD on the Solo box), but from the 1985 Munich filmed interview too - which is greatly informative and candid.
Not sure when the audio book will emerge - Sept I think - and that is a mixture of the 73 minute CD plus 32 minutes of the very best from the filmed encounter. It's a good overview of most subjects.

What is the difference between an "audio book" and a CD? Could someone please explain it to me? And if the audio book contains the 73 minutes we already have and if the additional 32 minutes are available on video - why don't we get the video? It's very much easier to follow a video interview than audio - mainly for non-English fans.

I suppose it is the nearest one canpossibly get to having a Spoken Word version of the new Freddie book. I mean ideally Freddie would/could have sat and read the entire text and that would be a true spoken word book, or audio CD or download. In fact if anyone read it all, itwould be that.
But... this will be an internet download thing, not an actual CD.

I listened to it over and over again and the book with the pictures is fantastic etc. When I read your book on Queen live, it was a disappointment though. You could have included much more info in it like more reviews and like many others say , there are lots of mistakes. I don't want to offend you , it's just an observation from a fan who wants the correct info!
It would be nice if there was more information for us , the die-hard fans, on subjects like:-existing live-footage, existing audiorecording etc.
For example: Queen's last concert in knebworth. Are you sure there isn't a videorecording from the bigs screens?There are shots from it in the FM-inserts on the tribute-dvd.
A Puebla'81show:there would be a full videorecording of this show.Does Queen Production do all they can to abtain this footage(if they haven't already)?
