Roger: Can I go To Lunch Now? Brian: No, You Can't... --------------------------------------- Freddie: Oh Shit, All this crap again?! "If I had to do it all over again, yes why not? why not
Uhhh Guys, Brian collapsed from hepatits that was brought on by an infection from a vaccine. That vaccine was mandatory for a trip to Austrailia as part of their tour. It wasn't because of drugs. I highly doubt Brian ever took drugs. I'm really hoping that this is a sick joke!! :-(
I love John Deacon and Brian May!!!

Brian became addicted to heroin back at the start of Queen's career! Remember when he collapsed in the States back in 1974, Queen's first US tour. It wasn't because of hepatitis, it was a heroin overdose!
You fool. He wasn't ADDICTED then; he had just tried it for the first time, and didn't realize just how potent it was. He didn't become addicted until 1982.

Honestly. Check your facts next time before you call us losers.

And anyone else giving your "hypotheticals" about songs written between 1970 and 1982 are also incorrect: there are no drug references in any of those songs, except for 'Misfire', which was a sarcastic jibe on John's part about Brian "misfiring" the needle, leading to his collapse.
Lester, you're are correct. I apologize for not checking my facts, but he was hospitalized for an overdose!

It's a joke. Brian never took any drugs (except maybe by accident.) I don't agree about the "sick joke" part, this is hilarious!
That's ok, you might have read it in Laura Jackson's hilariously inaccurate biography of Brian, which also said he was an alcoholic and a collector of fine stamps. Brian never drank a drop of liquor in his life, and he abhorred stamp collections. Shows how much Ms. Jackson knew.
Please can someone tell me if this is all a joke!!!! :D
[QUOTENAME]Lester Burnham wrote: [/QUOTENAME]Technically, it's not a scar, but a track during Brian's heroin addiction years. Apparently, taking it in the neck produced an unbelievable high.

What'd you think 'Gimme The Prize' was about? That's right. Heroin = "the prize".
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Now THAT'S FUNNY *HIT!
GO, GO, GO LITTLE QUEENIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I posted this on the Personal forums, but I'll aslo post it here.

Okay guys, it might seem that I’m a spammer but I’m not. In fact I’ve been a member of QZ since 2001, I just never posted. I’ve always lurked around but I never posted anything, until now.

I’ve been a Queen fan for the majority of my life; my uncle was a huge Queen fan. The music of Queen inspired me to become a musician. I'm not a great musician, but I do consider myself okay. My band, Artemis Moon, has been around the Houston, Texas music scene for about 8 years, off and on. We’ve decided to give this music thing one more shot before we actually hang it up. So, the reason I’m writing this is not to sell you a product, but to actually get some constructive criticism. I would like for you guys to check us out and tell us what you think.

Our sound is a mixture of our main influences. The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Cream, Queen, STP, Coldplay, The Who, Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders, Foo Fighters. Check us out and tell us what you think; your input is much appreciated.

FYI, the songs are all demos. They were all recorded in one take, the rough vocals have not been removed, the only thing we did do was overdub the guitar.

Thanks
