Am I the only one who would like to see the interviews with John & Roger and the footage on the river boat added to the extra's? I hate it when they cut up a concert.

I have Budapest on VHS and prefer it to Wembley but basically it is the same show.
What I'd like to see is a multiple DVD set with Budapest '86 as well as a couple of other shows like Earls Court '77 and maybe the one from Brazil '81.
It's Queen fans who buy these things, not casual viewers, so put a good package together and it will sell.

Brian thinks everything is great. Pink, Beyonce, Five, the fucking musical and now this idea for a new DVD. In a way I'm not suprised by this. Somehow I doubt why I became a Queen fan. Not for the releases, that's for sure. QP did it again. They let us fans down. The only thing they want? Money from us fans. It's all about financial power. Plus we have some retard as an archivist. Wake me up when they do a proper release of a 70's show.

of course Bupapest will be better than Wembley,even VHS of Budapest,it's far better than Wembley DVD, of course talking about picture quality. Let's hope that they have access to the original film reals and audio so they could do a proper 5.1 mix,not an 5.1 upmix like Tribute Concert or Wembley

Brian has already announced that Budapest will be on DVD a year or something ago. It isn't really a surprise.
I agree with the folks who say some 70's concert should be released prior to Budapest. As YV said they have got great footage... It would be awesome to have a 79 or 77 DVD.

Well... just saw the Budapest 1986 video and I could remember you whore the long white red jacket during the heavy rock part of Bohemian Rhapsody and Hammer To Fall. Haven't saw the Wembley DVD yet. Perhaps it's popping up somewhere in the show there as well.

While it would be dragging into the ridiculous for Queen to release another post 70's queen concert, particularly another from the 'Magic' tour, I must still concede that the Budapest '86 concert was far greater than the Wembley '86 show, and is most worthy of a dts/re-mix release.
Christ just release *everything* in a huge fucking treasure chest. I would seriously buy a Queen treasure chest if it had lots of cool DVDs in it.

Yes, Budapest IS deserving of a properly restored DVD.....JUST NOT NOW.

Nothing is official yet! I actually prefer Budapest to Wembely, I think it sounds great and Freddie's voice is stronger than it was for Wembley. All they have to do is fix the speed and that's it, basically the same thing that was done for We Will Rock You, although WWRY isn't part of Queen Productions.
There is a demand for 70's live album stuff and the band knows about it. Brian has mentioned in the past that the Hammersmith Odeon Christmas 75 show might be released on DVD in the near future. Although I'm from Houston, and the show happened the year and month I was born, I actually don't like the concert. There are a lot of mistakes in that show, guitar going out of tune and Brian breaking a string at the beginning of Liar. There are better shows from that era.

Well it seems a bit crackers to me. Again, it highlights the difficulties of Queen not changing their setlist mid tour for some variety. On a trivial note,I wonder how they'll treat the issue of Freddie's hair? It looked very thin, worse than at Wembley- I think they'll have to keep off the behind shots under the lights.

Can't wait for Budapest DVD! I'm quite certain that picture and sound will be the best so far. Plus there is a lot of behind the scene/backstage footage...Should be a great release! I don't care if it's a Magic Tour gig, I want it!!! Of course, I wouldn't mind having something from the 70's...:)
