A Night At The Opera or A Day At The Races; which is better?

Which album, in your opinion, is the better one? I mean, A Day At The Races came out after A Night At The Opera...and they both are VERY alike...But don't let your opinions depend on that fact that A Night At The Opera was released before and is one of the most "famous" of Queen's albums...because of Bo Rhap -_-'....I would actually say that A Day At The Races is better...But in my opinion of course...

So...which would you prefer?

for style - Opera, for overall quality - Races

Races was supposed to be the leftovers from the Opera sessions. Tell you what...there are some songs on Races that are MUCH betetr than anything on Opera. YTMBA and Millionaire are beautiful songs. STL has perhaps Freddie's finest bit of singing anywhere, and is probably the most perfect and complete song he ever wrote. Even John and Roger's "fillers" are very good songs. GOFL is fantastically extreme and TYMD is possibly Brian's finest out-and-out rocker

Yeah, I think that Races is a better album, I just love it more than Opera

Definitely prefer Races out of the two... just has better songs than ANATO overall. I thought I was in the minority when it came to choosing between these two.

I'd have to say Races overall as an album…although Opera has more individual songs that are some of my favorites

I much prefer ADATR to ANATO. ANATO's big saving grace, in my opinion, is The Prophet's Song. I find Bohemian Rhapsody to be overrated to death.
