Yeah, apparently the director Edgar Wright is the big Queen fan there. Their new film 'Hot Fuzz' should hopefully follow-up the Queen showing in Shaun of the Dead, whether with Hot Space paraphenalia or not!

Kurt Cobain from Nirvana was a fan too and mentioned Freddie in his suicide note. I heard that Robert De Niro was going to produce the biopic or direct it but never heard that he was a fan...well who knows. Also, the director of Cowboy Bebop(an anime/Japanese cartoon), Shinichiro Watanabe is a fan of Queen, there are two episodes alluding to Queen in the show. One of the sessions(episodes are called sessions in CB) is "Heavy Metal Queen"(Session #7) and another is "Bohemian Rhapsody"(Session #14). I have all the DVDs so I checked. And in the Guilty Gear series of fighting games, one of the main characters is Sol Badguy who takes his name from Freddie's album "Mr. Bad Guy" and he is a fan of Queen in-game as well. He's modeled after Freddie and his favourite possession is Queen's album "Sheer Heart Attack". Thanks celli for informing me that I can find "Queen - The Magic Years" clips on YouTube. I'll check them out later because YouTube is down for maintainence. I read long ago that Al Gore was a fan, as well as Steve Jobs(Founder and CEO of Apple). Peter Gabriel, Elton John, Sting, Bryan Adams, Cliff Richard, Eric Clapton, Mark Knopfler, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart and George Michael are admirers too, if not fans. And how can one forget David Bowie. Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones hates Queen though, I think...
