While you're at the shop, get some taste too. You could use it!

Oh, and if you're going into town anyway, bring me a cheesecake please! Blackcurrant![/QUOTE]

LMAO! :D :D :D

THE POLICE RULE, RAWRRRRRRRRRRRR! :D

You do not seem to be familiar with the internal workings of subtle humour, do you? Maybe you need to update your drivers to avoid errors such as this one?

I'm with Bob on that one.

Not that this surprises me (or anyone paying attention, actually). You've consistently demonstrated a very poor musical taste from the minute I stepped onto this site.

Oh come one Cas! This is getting old. Why is it it poor?? Just because you don't listen to it. Please grow up.
We love you Mandy!
Fuck.

What kind of cake should I get? I'm turning 21 in 6 days.
Fuck! I mean, Happy Birthday.

I would get a simple (large) sheet cake with white icing, then hand out those little squeeze tubes of colored icing to guests and let them write messages (or make drawings) on the cake. I did this for a party once and the guests had a really good time writing silly things. Also, having little sprinkles and candies available would be good.

Why? Because I think carbon copied reggae riffs are boring?
I personally prefer Sting as a solo artist. At least as a sole artist he attempted to do very different things.

Just as a reminder: Your opinion is NOT everybody's opinion.

People are always surprised when I have a good idea. I don't get it.

Yes, but you have consistently been slagging every good artist from Bob Dylan through the '60s, '70s and '80s down to today. If it were just The Police, I wouldn't have paid much attention to it, but it seems like the only top-level artists you can appreciate are Queen and (some) Pink Floyd.

Just because you think they are good does not mean everybody else does.

I personally can't stand Bob Dylan or The Police and I am sure I like music that you don't like.

I'm not going to argue with you, seeing as nothing good ever comes of it, mainly because you own the truth and I do too, yet they are not the same.

Still, if there is ONE thing I'm absolutely confident about, it is my musical taste, as has been confirmed time and time again by musicians, teachers of music, art historians and enthusiasts.

"my musical taste, as has been confirmed time and time again yadda yadda yadda"

- ....and? I love Bob Dylan, I love the Police, but I couldn't give a monkeys who doesn't like them. It doesn't make any difference to my individual enjoyment of the music.

Why do you feel you have to prove to others how 'right' your musical tastes are?
