Was the tracklisting that big of a concern to most fans? Were people afraid of a 30 minute edit?
Do you always need to be an ass?

Goody gumdrops...can't wait for the new DVD! :-P
What a disappointment... Or actually not, as disappointment would require at least some degree of surprise... This is unsurprising on so many levels.
The strange thing is that the DVD is being released through Eagle and not Parolophone. The CD will be released through Parlophone though.

I don't mean to sound overtly pessimistic, but couldn't that be just to put a "cheap re-release" label on the package, and try to avoid any criticism avoid putting out virtually the same dvd which has already been released years ago?

If it was released on the usual label, they would actually be expected to put on a second disc of extras on the release, but through the Eagle label they are under no such "obligation".
I'm pretty sure there will be a 2nd disc as they said extras are to be confirmed.

They've announced a lot of things in the past few years... I wouldn't count on getting anything new as extra. :/

Oh well, at least I won't be disappointed when the release date is here. I hope everyone else can say the same.
What about the Flash medley?! Wasn't this supposed to be a release of the FULL concert?! =/

Jeeez this will be a waste of money...
Crap. Well, there went my hopes for this being a fully-restored show from the better night, with parts of the other being on a second disk complete with extras.

I will pass on this one unless the extras happen to include Hammy '79, Argentina '81, or some other newly-released gem.
"Do you think I should keep this mustache? Did you say no? F--- off."
Where's the 'Now I'm Here' reprise after 'Dragon Attack'?

(sorry, couldn't help being sarcastic;-))
"Ladies and gentlemen... I guess that takes in most of you..." Groucho Marx, 'A Night at the Opera'
Folks, I urge you to give QPL the benefit of the doubt. Sure it's a disappointment, but believe it or not the people upstairs have been in the music business for several years now (spot the irony time). They are very well aware of the fact that people wouldn't buy the same DVD for the third time so it will have some redeeming extras. I believe (or rather I hope) that there WILL be a second disc of extras and most of them will be more than enough to keep you occupied for a good weekend. In addition I think that the audio will be a brand-new 5.1 mix and the video will probably be high definition.

My point is this. Let's keep the criticisms until October 9th, shall we?

I'm as mad as HELL, and I'm not going to take this anymore!

and that will be the only thing that will make anyone interested in the dvd.
