Today I bought the DVD (at FreeRecordShop, Enschede) and I'm watching it now... It seems to have more speeches and time between the songs. And Freddie says: 'This is called Killer Queen' which I don't think was on the previous release. Also on I'm in love with my car, you can hear Freddie sing :'Oh...Oh yes' (Like the 'Oh yeah!' on Live Killers). Now I'm Here seems different, with another intro, but I have to compare it to the old DVD.
The sound is very much improved. This release has the best audio mix of all the Queen DVDs IMHO. The piano is much louder. The drums sound is louder than on Wembley or Milton Keynes.
The last thing I want to say is that the bass guitar sound in Get Down Make Love sounds very 'raw'. It's a good release, only the bonus DVD seems to be a bit disappointing.

Btw: The DVD wasn't in the store yet. When I asked when it would be in the store, the salesgirl said she already had it in the back of the shop. The DVD is €22,99. The DVD seems to be in other FreeRecordShops as well.
I've only got bootlegs of the most important concerts but I can't say I'm a real collector ;)

Seriously, shut the fuck up if you're going to deride me for liking Blu-ray and expressing my views about it.
I certainly do NOT bring it up every time a DVD thread comes up. I've only ever mentioned it in regards to SOME discussions on Montreal '81 or Budapest '86, which had to do with those concerts that were filmed on FILM, not fucking VHS, Betamax or w/e (I do NOT advocate upconverted "high-def" releases, to make a point...yet I know of a few that are actually out there, including one Roy Orbinson title coming up I believe)
Needless to point out however, at the same time, I will NOT be buying this release on DVD...I will be only going with the BD release, since I see no need to double-dip within this re-release alone (having acquired all 3 previous Pioneer DVD editions already).
However, it seems there might not be a lossless audio option on the high-def releases, or so I gathered from a recent article on the formats by Justin Shirley-Smith when discussing QRM....that in itself is a total WTF. But then again, QP always likes to screw around with us as always, holding back the best bits :(
