    Personally, I'd go with lessons at first, at least till you get the very basics. If you take lessons you could always fall back on a career as a symphony drummer. My advice-take lessons, and play along to Zeppelin/Ear...

    I always wondered that too, I remember Brian May saying Freddie was self-concious of his playing skills, maybe Freddie didn't want it to be in the foreground all the time.
