RIP John S. Stuart
Very sorry to hear this. In the 15 years or so I've been on this forum I don't think anyone has provided as much fan service as John!

Deakys Paris farewell footage
I never got the sense they were bashing him.

Wembley FM Radio Broadcast ?
Isn't the pre-fm in circulation for the complete show, a King Biscuit Flower Hour release I think?

Boston 01-30-76 - Breakdon release
Would anyone be so kind to as to share the Breakdown records release of the Boston 76 show? I have various versions but still prefer the sound of the clips from this release that were posted on youtube. It just seems...

The Miracle Boxset
"I guess we're falling" has the best single potential imo, the lyrics are in a sketchy state though. Dog with a Bone is awful imo but i'd still be happy if it was included.

The Miracle Boxset
I wouldn't get your hopes up for anything revelatory in the box set. If there were any decent unreleased tracks with finished lyrics and a great vocal take from Freddie, they would have been released by now. Would be...

Mr Bad Guy - Special edition
If Freddie expressed any unhappiness with his solo records, the last people he would confide in would be Mike Moran & Mack for fear of offending them. My money's on Jim Beach!

Mr Bad Guy - Special edition
We're not talking about the last couple of months of his life here. He knew he was dying for a long time and plenty of time to discuss Posthumous releases.

Mr Bad Guy - Special edition
His music is his legacy, i think was pretty important to him, especially at the end. Discussion about it would have been unavoidable while getting his affairs in order.

Mr Bad Guy - Special edition
Apocalipsis_Darko wrote: I know Steven Brown, a good guy. Producer of Wham!, Love by The Cult, or the debut of Manic Street Preachers. Freddie never would like to remix these original songs, He liked what he published...

Mr Bad Guy - Special edition
The album sounds especially crap, I really don't have a problem with them dicking around with it. Even some minor changes would make a big improvement.

This Christmas' DVD/blu-ray release...
It's different for copyrighted yet unreleased material. Implemented in 2012, the new European provision states that any recordings covered under copyright but as yet unreleased must be released within 50 years of the...

This Christmas' DVD/blu-ray release...
An anthology release will probably require the same motivation that led to the Pink Floyd early years box set, that of the copyright expiring after 50 years. So for Queen's earliest (unreleased) recordings that would...

What happened to John Harris? Where is he now?
I'm pretty sure My Fairy King was the only track never played live from the first album, according to John Deacon. Too many multi-layer harmonies to pull off live.

Was the Live in Budapest release originally set to be released in 4:3?
He says the 16 camera edit was compiled straight to videotape, presumably the editor has the master (probably a betamax) and copies were made for the director and assistants etc.

Concert part from Bohemian Rhapsody film
I thought there was a vocal line or two lifted from Hyde Park 76? I think the music is all Earls Court though.

Better Live than on record.
Somebody to Love is fantastic live. Especially the passion Freddie put into on those Europen Hot Space shows.

Future concert release
They definetaly have the full footage of Rio 1st night. Bits of footage showed up in Days of our Lives and the Freddie Mercury documentaries. Quality about as crap as the original release! Those ancient brazillian TV...

Future concert release
I would love the 1st night im Rio to get a full release. Freddie was in great voice. The 2nd night not so much.

Future concert release
Biggus Dickus wrote: I seriously doubt it. Paris '79 wasn't shot on film so I doubt they will release anything of such "bad quality". And of course they wouldn't release any one-camera -footage anyway, no matter how g...
