According to some on the QOL forums that went to the Freddie b-day party in Montreux, there is a Miracle boxset in the pipeline for next year containing MANY previously unissued recordings.
I would think a few other albums would be in line for a box set first...and it's not like it's an anniversary....so odd choice. BUT if it gets us unreleased goodies, I will take it.

Oh and this reportedly came from Jim Beach so we shall see...

2019 marks the 30th anniversary. Still an odd choice as it is not regarded as a classic album. Has some great songs but also lots of their worst ever. My baby does me , Rain must fall, Khashoggis ship and Party are crap

It's great if it's true. And excellent choice!

Not a huge fan of the Miracle... Never understood the high esteem some fans give it. It's patchy at best, like most of the post 1980 material.
Some really good songs mixed in there though.
Used to think Was it all worth it was excellent, but TSMGO blows it away with the same "this is the last song we'll ever do" vibe
I dread to think how bad some of the tracks that didn't make the album were.
They talked about having 20 plus tracks to choose from at the time.
But I'm all for pulling stuff out the archives and if this is true, it's a likely purchase from me.
I loved the NOTW set, despite the price.

It may get me to like this album despite always have been in my least favourite five albums.

Absolutely one of the best releases I can think of - if done right. Screw the haters, there's lots of potentially great content for this one.
I mean, I do have a soft spot for the album, yet some people here would still complain if an equivalent Queen II or ANATO release was rumoured to happen.

Never forget: the NOTW box set was announced as having a lot of unheard content. It turned out to be just 1 disc...
Until we have a press release I just expect nothing. This is more or less what we usually get.

Still, a Miracle-box set would be a considerably better release than yet another Wembley-reissue.

Well, I can’t disagree with you, but on the other hand, it’s better than nothing. Although yes, for the NOTW, they could release all nine takes of the song “Feelings”

I guess we're falling out, and Face it alone I assume we will not get

1 whole disc of alternative takes is well above the standard we are used to, you know.
I mean, there's so much more they could have released for NOTW, but I'll very happily take 45-60 minutes worth of essentially never before heard takes / versions / performances / demos / whatever from The Miracle.

Well, they included Sleeping on the sidewalk live. That is nice
What I just don't get is why they do not use those expensive box sets to offer a nice amount of rare stuff.
For me, the NOTW box would have been great if:
- they included another disc or 2 of studio rarities
- Houston 77 live dvd/blu ray
- downloadlinks to the 2 best/most interesting soundboard recordings they have from eacht tour leg: imagine getting Boston 77 and Inglewood 77 and then something from Europe/UK 78
That box would have been truly worth it and I'd enjoy all the live stuff on a weekly basis :-) ;-)

huh, Too much for Miami. because he will not know what release next year and so on
9 CDS 2 double vinyl albums and some goodies plus book. For 140 EUro. The NOTW box almost was that pricey for about 1/3 of the content
Regarding the Miracle it is clearly that they go for it because it was a very productive period. We will get "Dog With a bone" and "Falling OUt" in decent quality I hope.
