The Miracle sessions were the most prolific in the whole Queen's career. So regardless our various tastes this album has the BIGGEST potential for a box set.

2019 marks the 30th anniversary. Still an odd choice as it is not regarded as a classic album. Has some great songs but also lots of their worst ever. My baby does me , Rain must fall, Khashoggis ship and Party are crap
Crap in your opinion maybe, but a lot of people love those songs. Myself included.
You have a strange taste- but on the other hand you like QAL so it does not surprise me. Rain Must fall is the worst Queen song ever- Makes Cool Cat sound like BoRhap. And My Baby does me is not much better. Even TIM is a crappy disco tune. I remember when IWIA was released as the leadsingle I was hoping that TM is a hard rock album again. Half of it was lame subpar pop. Scandal, WIAWI, Breakthru, IWIA TM were great songs almost classics but the rest was pop garbage
We may have our differences but can't really argue with any of this. I too remember being really excited for a heavier album after the lead single and then being a bit disappointed with the album as a whole with a few gems scattered through it.

A Miracle Box set could be great...But it will fail as all Queen products since 25 years ago...
Party, Kashoggi Ship, Breakthru, I Want It All, Scandal, Was It All Worth It, Hang On In There, Hijack My Heart...Enough great songs to consider The Miracle a great album.
In my Top3
I am curious about the other two.....

absolutely - was a very mixed bag. But surely potential for a Boxset if done right. But I doubt they will do it right.....

Yeah, wouldn't of been my first choice for a boxset so hope they throw in some gems.

some people here would still complain if an equivalent Queen II or ANATO release was rumoured to happen.
And here are the two most relevant posts in the thread.
After Pink Floyd fans complained about the 27 disc Early Years box set, nothing surprises me anymore. Queen fans also would not disappoint.

I think i mentioned this before but - if this is true - then I think it should support a final sessions anthology. So I would think a box set to commemorate Miracle-Innuendo-Made In Heaven would make the most sense. A 2021 release would be most appropriate if they want to celebrate anything.... freddie's 75th birthday, 30 years since his death and 30 years since Innuendo. Could easily be a 5-6 CD set including the 3 albums + Bluray of the videos & documentary

Not the worst idea. Especially when I think of Innuendo. I rmemeber there was a (highly priced) Studio chat for fans and those who attended were floored by the alternative vocals/takes etc..

Bruce Springsteen box sets are the best.
Album
Outtakes
Documentary
Concert dvd
N cool book like his notebook for the album
Proper document of that album era

It's your OWN opinion and it doesn't really matter at all for everybody here because everyone has his OWN opinion.

My guess they will celebrate the 50th anniversary of forming the band in 1971. Yes, the band started the year before but since they had their 40th anniversary in 2011 i guess they will celebrate it in 2021.

Exactly. And the problem is runner_70 almost never has anything positive to offer. It’s always some negative nancy comment, one after another. It’s almost like for him, life is...unreal?

Myself too, especially Scandal.
Scandal is great - the others I mentioned not so much
Glad we agree on that. Scandal is a great track. One of my favourites.

We all have different tastes. That is what makes the world so great. I certainly don't have strange taste though!!

I hope that it's true, but to be honest.... is so strange... I mean, 2020 it's more normal to release a 40 anniversary box of The Game, one of the most selling albums of the band.... but, The Miracle??
Anyway, I hope that it's true
