Which name would you like BM and RT to call themselves?
mooghead wrote "I remember this argument from 10 years ago. Yawn." Yawn if you want to, but for many this is unfinished business.

Bohemian Rhapsody in brazilian commercial
Talk about scraping the barrel. The surviving Beatles never allow the use of their material in commercials - and for good reason.

Which name would you like BM and RT to call themselves?
pingfah wrote: " What damage? The whole Q+PR thing has sailed blissfully past most people without them ever knowing it was done, there's no "damage" done to Queen's legacy. And Cosmos Rocks was a relative commercial f...

Which name would you like BM and RT to call themselves?
The damage has been done regarding the use of the Queen name, but I still hope they see sense..... Anything but the use of Queen - perhaps the name of an old Queen song / album - that way there is a link to their past.

Best Track of 80's: I Want it All
This vocal mix is impressive. Having said that, while I like IWIA and I don't think it's a classic. A good song from an inconsistent and overall quite disappointing album.

Roger's new song; Dear Mr Murdoch.
I had to smile when I read the re-release news on the Guardian website. http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2011/jul/20/queen-roger-taylor-murdoch-song This article states: He donated £10,000 to the Independent Manchester...

What does everyone think on a new Queen Album???
I really hope BM and RT are not stupid enough to record another "Queen" album. I'd prefer them to do new solo material or create a new BM / RT band (i.e. without pretending to be Queen).

Queen productions reports sales of £44 million
While £44m is a lot by most people's standards, it doesn't sound a massive amount considering the size of their back catalogue. A few more details would be good - e.g. how many albums did QPL sell in the last 12 months.

Views on how badly EMI promoted Queen+Paul Rodgers The Comos Rocks???
Mr Debauchery wrote: "I read somewhere that at one point they were debating what to call the collaboration with PR and they considered simply calling it Rodgers, Taylor and May (in a similar vein to Emerson, Lake and...

Views on how badly EMI promoted Queen+Paul Rodgers The Comos Rocks???
I speak as a fan who bought all albums, singles and solo material; as well as attending gigs including the Magic tour and solo concerts. However. I didn't buy Cosmos Rocks, indeed I've not bought any material by the B...

embarrassing songs.
Obviously what is good, bad or embarrassing is subjective. But when reading these posts, I've been surprised that (in my opinion at least) some quality songs (e.g. Cool Cat) are cited as embarrassing. When it comes to...

Greatest Hits back in UK top 40
The first volume of Greatest Hits is the best, indeed it's my favourite album of all time by any artist. I dare say Volume 3 hasn't reappeared in the charts, I wonder why?

when did Q&PR fall apart?
I'm pleased that QPR is no more. The tour, album and the reckless use of the Queen name caused untold damage to the band's reputation and catalogue. The sad thing is that I suspect no lessons have been learnt from thi...

A Kind Of Magic album - 25years Old Today!
The album had brilliant artwork and gatefold sleeve. But....musically it was a mish mash, uneven with some great songs but some awful ones too. Sadly I rarely play it.

John's involvement with Made in Heaven
Hi all, As others may have picked up, in the second part of the Days of Our Lives documentary Roger referred to himself and Brian making the Made in Heaven album. John's contribution and involvement was not mentioned....

rarest queen song played on radio
In 1986 while they were touring, Simon Mayo on Radio 1 played the 12" version of "Break Free". But for solo records, this will take some beating. The local commercial station in Sheffield, Hallam FM, played The Immort...

Which is the worst Queen song?
Worst song? There's no contest - in my opinion it's the final "hidden" track (number 13) on Made in Heaven. It's over 22 minutes of utter rubbish and I will never forget the disappointment I felt when I first heard it...

John Circa 2003-2006
Others will disagree, but I think there is a story to be told regarding John. I'd be very interested to know when either Brian or Roger last spoke to him, I imagine that there is hardly any communication these days. A...

It's a Hard Life! All I gotta say is--WOW!
I like it,too. It does remind me of Play The Game though.

Who was at Knebworth Park 86
I was at Knebworth. It was the best concert I've ever been to and I feel lucky that I managed to see the band played live at the very last opportunity. A million times better than the Queen+ tribute band that has been...
