I think he had switched to leather by the US Jazz tour. I haven't seen any US 78 pics with anything but.

The LA show(22/12/1977) is of all known Queen recordings the one I would like to hear most! Fantastic setlist!

I thought there was a recording from Portland 11.11.1977, but its being hoarded - my friend ( www.geocities.com/tradiogaga ) told me a while ago that he heard it over msn with a microphone.

Really amazing!! Also, overwhelming, as there is a part of me that wishes to hear every single one of those shows, and, more, wishes I had been there.
Really, what an amazing tribute to a great band.
