What is Queen's worst album??

I'd have to say Flash Gordon is the worst. There's not too many songs with vocals in them. Even though this album is my least favorite, I must admit, it's still very good.
As for Hot Space, I didn't think it was that bad, it was just something different. Many of the songs actually sounded awesome live.
Even though The Works has many synthesizers and has a 'pop' feel to it, I still enjoy it very much. Hammer To Fall, Tear It Up, I Want To Break Free and It's A Hard Life are superior songs.
I rather like The Miracle and The Game. They have many awesome songs. I love those albums (although the overall sound on The Miracle sounds extremely dated).

a) Only 9 tracks.
B) The band was at it's highest tension point and it slightly shows to a trained Queen ear.
c) Sounds to me like the most commercially conscious album of all, the construction of several songs seem to have a more intended purpose rather than a natural creative spark of music. Tear It Up and Hammer To Fall was Brian's attempt to rebel against Queen's recent sound developments by punching out two heavy rock tracks. Is This The World We Created? for Queen was to Live Aid what Say It's Not True was to 46664, a preachy developed song with a purpose. It's a Hard Life was a conscious attempt to rework and cash in on Bohemian Rhapsody, and Back Chat and Man On The Prowl felt like sequels to Another One Bites The Dust and Crazy Little Thing Called Love, their two biggest hits ever in the USA, and both prior to the off-putting Hot Space fiaxco.

That being said, The Works is still a classic masterpiece of music.

I think Greatest Hits III is the worst.

That's an easy pick. The one Queen album I refuse to add to my collection.....The Flash Gordon Soundtrack. Just a collection of a bunch of experimental sounds and only 2 real songs on it.

I'd also have to say Flash Gordon. My only real gripe about that album is that (in my opinion) there are too many excerpts from the film sprinkled in amongst the music. On one hand, the alternate version of Flash is a great way to start the album. It is a soundtrack album after all and an introduction like that is only a good thing. But I felt that the sound effects and voices got a bit distracting as the album progressed.

If it hadn't had as many interruptions like that, it would have been a fantastic album.
