I never identified Flash Gordon as being a 'Queen album.' I actually interpret it as being a side project that gave Queen a whole new collection of fans. That being said I consider it being one of Queen's greatest moments.

Yeah it's hard to say Flash Gordon is the worst album because it's sort of a weird anomoly...some people really get it and some don't. It's hard to see that many different sides to a simple album like The Works though (which is why I picked The Works).
NONE NONE AND NONE
I like them all really, but I'd have to say Flash Gordon.
flash gordon is the worst, the works , jazz and queen 2 are my favorites.
My vote goes to “A kind of Magic”
A truly boring, uninspired & flat sounding recording. Four individuals simply going through the motions. They couldn’t even make up their minds whether to make this a soundtrack or not.

If the album were at least 'decent', would you still say it's the worst just to prove a point?

Flash.
Flash Gordon
Dunno if we should count this as a genuine Queen album, cause it doesn't work as one.
Awesome as a soundtrack though.
Live Killers blows when it comes to sound quality, but the not so standard tracklist makes it something special.
Live Magic is horrible though, for obvious reasons.
Great cover art.
Greatest Hits III is the worst compilation released by the lads imo. Again some nice cover art.
Why do most of you pick The Works as the worst album?? Overall it's really an high quality album. With exception of maybe Tear It Up.
I pick Hot Space. Why? Cuase i can't pick Flash Gordon. xD

it s defenetly hot space the worst album, just listen to Freddie on the dvd live at the bowl, he feel bad about the album and he almost excuse himself on stage befor signing stayin power, he said that it s just a bloody record, who care what people say,(i love stayin power by the way). the only good song with las palabras de amor on that album.
remember that in 1982 was the last tour in USA people lost interest because of the sound of body langage. they never had a hit after that in the US.
Stephane Begin, Quebec City Canada

He didn't excuse for anything Queen did, especially Hot Space. And Body Language was a relative big hit in the US, hence the inclusion on the American Greatest Hits. The US lost interest in The Works era, because they didn't tour the US and some say the Break Free video...but i think the lack of publicity is the main reason.

i see flash gordon as an soundtrack
and a damn good one.
the album suits with the movie.
i go for HOT SPACE

I also see flash as a soundtrack album, but as for the real queen albums I'm usually debating hot space, the works, magic, and the miracle for worst queen album. My mind always changes, but the miracle I think is their worst. Hot space is a bit underated.
