As a joke, yes it's funny.
Don't get me wrong 'Delilah' is not as terrible as some people say, but for an album like Innuendo it's just way too silly to include it. They should have left it as a a B-Side track.

I had never heard it before I clicked on the link and after 1 minute 30 seconds I was thinking this song is ok what is all the fuss about but then it got to the bad part and I saw why all the bad comments. It is definately not Mr May's greatest composition.

Well Said Arnaldo, I don't think Delilah's one of Fred's best songs lyricaly, is it. we all know he's singing about his cat (LOL) & the guys will have humoured him, with him dying and all, but be honest, if Freddie wasn't dying at the time, and say it was pre- "The Miracle" I'm sure the guys would have said "Fuck off Fred, you're not putting that crap on the Album, take out the "Meows" and we'll think about it." Also, the song is credited to Queen. do you really think, Brian, John and Roger would have wanted to be credited as Co writers of the song if Freddie wasn't dying. I think not.

i wasnt saying that you cant critizize, there are songs I am not big of a fan of either, however, it just seems that this topic comes up alot more often than I would have expected.
Some bands can do 'politics' because they have credibility.
Queen were (in fact, are) a band of questionable politics who spend most of their time chasing dollars.
Apart from the fact that Brian May is embarrassing when he starts his shouting, and ignoring the dreadful word structure in the song (it has, what should always be known as 'a hint of Roger' about it) I just don't think a band that spent their entire career singing about nonsense can all of sudden start the 'U2' preaching thing and not look stupid.
If Brian May wants to do it on his own, fine. But the whole point of Queen for me was that it was escapism - daft nonsense, silly lyrics, dodgy rhymes (the 'hint of Roger' I was talking about) and great great music.
This 'change' in their purpose sits uneasily next to the cash generator that is Queen Productions / We Will Fleece You / QPR.
