true that.
true that.
Yeah, The Call sounds pretty damn terrible - it's just a bit embarrassing.
But for sheer terrible songs, you can do no wrong with...
Jesus, Sweet Lady, Drowse, Get Down Make Love, More of that Jazz, Don't Try Suicide, Body Language, Back Chat, Most of Flash Gordon, Don't Lose Your Head, Gimme The Prize, Pain is so Close to Pleasure, Rain Must Fall, My Baby Does Me, Delilah, All God's People and My Life Has Been Saved.
All of them have the advantage of being "proper" Queen songs, for which - on some level - all 4 of them must be held accountable.

I'm shocked at how many great songs you had in that list.

Yeah, I don't get why so many folks dislike All God's People.

I just think it's a bit rubbish really - I think the lyrics are poor and the message isn't terribly relevant or interestingly communicated.
I forgot She Makes Me as well, which isn't actually that rubbish but it takes about 50 listens before you start to like it.
I think Brian's the most consistently excellent composer in Queen's long and colourful history, but I don't think The Call will go down in history as one of his better efforts.
Leaving Home ain't easy on the other hand, just smacks of genius from start to finish.
