Although it is hard to notice on that youtube clip, both Spike and Jamie did have microphones in front of them (see pics below). So the vocals could very well have been done live. Either way, I couldnt care less - the song for me was well above what I was expecting.

This is just my opinion, but I believe the song has potential. Now, I'm not saying it'll be remembered in twenty years, but due to its contemporary feel and simplistic guitar riff it might attract some immediate attention.

the three songs we heard so far on the new album are average at best. C-Lebrity is not exactly the greatest of songs. I guess it's in the same league as the new version of "say it's not true" i'm still looking forward to hearing the full album, it has potential to be at least decent. Individually they sound good.

But the harmony guitar was in three parts! It can't just be Jamie and Bri.

Immediately to me it sounded like a backing track. As someone else pointed out, although it should be possible to create that sound with a harmonizer, I've never yet heard Bri do it so cleanly, smoothly and perfectly with one live before.

Odd.

I don't care if tapes were used or not. It's still just an ok song either way. :-/

I didn't realize that if you mixed their voices together that they sounded just like Brian. Strange I never noticed that in concert.

Ok, but what radio station is going to play that? Judging from the way it's being released, promoted, and offered, I think they know Queen isn't going to be on the radio anymore... at least new Queen.

That's just the way that it goes. Make too many hits, and no one wants to hear the new stuff.

I only said that they "could" well be singing on this, though it is highly unlikely. And as I have said before, either way I dont care.

I doubt very much that ANY singles will be issued as they will no doubt bomb as much as Say It's Not True. This isn't a good song, let alone a great one. It's naff - the title alone is cringe worthy. It isn't relevant sounding (which is to be expected) and doesn't stand up to the Queen back catalogue or even any of the bands solo efforts. It isn't catchy or memorable either. Paul Rodgers hasn't been a going concern for decades - this won't change that fact.

Bad news for you, as I don't think there's any doubt in my mind that "C-rappy song" started its life in the brain of one Mister Roger Meddows-Taylor. But don't let that stop you from blaming Brian May for everything you don't like.
