Since all brian may can do these days is play simple riffs and three-chord whitesnake rip offs, and all Roger can do is play beats so simple even an 8-yr old could emulate them, I suggest they both pack in it and instead act as back-up dancers for the highly successful Paul Rodgers. Picture this bill:
6pm Paul Rodgers + the interpretative dance routines on Roger Taylor and Brian May (formerly of Queen).

I have Queen, Bad Company and Free as presets on my satellite radio, and I hear about as many Queen plays as I hear Bad Company/Free plays. As far as airplay on American classic rock stations go, I'd say they're about even. And Paul's songs got about as big a reaction as Queen songs from the audiences at the shows I attended there in 2005 and 2006.
And if you want to get nitpicky, "Paul Rodgers", solo artist, gets played a lot more than "Freddie Mercury", "Brian May", and "Roger Taylor", solo artists. Of course, they all get played more than John Deacon.

I could only go by the radio here in ny, and Queen still get more airplay Than bad company. On my local classic rock radio station, they only play "Shooting Star" and once in a rare while, they play "Bad Company".
They do however play lots of Queen songs.

They played 'Your My Best Friend' two times in one day about a week ago, and a couple weekends ago they had a "Queen Hour" which I sadly missed out on, but Jessica told me about it! Luckily I've sat through two of their Queen hours before, in which the DJ talks about the song and gives info about it (he says like a few paragraphs of words), and then he plays it. Good promotion to be honest. They don't do those hour programmes for other bands. Sometimes they do have two for Tuesday, or three block (three songs in a row). During those times, they actually add one or two Queen songs to the ones they all ready played! What a crime! LoL.
