well i dont know how many times i have to say this, a professor is someone who has spent alot of time downloading files into his head and is expert at a certain field. This doesnt mean he is a smart person or openminded, logical.
Someone who has never studied could be smarter as he could be more openminded, more logical and intelligent. It all depends on the individual and nothing to do with university education.
