Is that particular venue very strict?
I seem to recall a Q+PR 2005/6-ish story that Pieter WAS gonna bootleg it, but ended up putting the MiniDisc equipment back in the car when you guys saw how people were being checked at the doors/gates...?

I've never been to this venue before, so I'm not sure.  Yeah, Pieter was going to record the Pittsburgh show, but when we saw people getting patted down, he took the minidisc thing back to the car.  The next time something decent comes to Columbia, I should record it.  They barely check for anything here.

Yeah I was going to record some shows, but my minidisc recorder is too large to hide easily. The main battery also died so I had to rely on the batter add on pack that I have, which makes it even bulkier. On top of that I would have to switch out discs in the middle of the show. More hastle than it's worth IMO.

I want to see Brian Wilson or The Beach Boys live.

That's one reason why I prefer using an Edirol. Pretty easy to hide, as long as you're, erm, 'discreet' about it, let's just say ;-)
