Of course, in theory you are right.
But studying law you should know there is a huge difference between knowing you are right and getting your right (don't know if that's proper English, but I'm sure you know what I mean)
Call me cynical but I don't believe the queen game (or whatever you wish to call it) will ever change.
Way too much greedy non intelligent egoistic people in this community...
Unlike the Zappa, Tool, Pink Floyd or other more sophisticated communities...

How about this?
You still have to upload that particular show from our trade, right?
Instead of sending the links exclusively to me, share them over here.
In return I will upload my QPR Antwerp '08 recording (audio, that is).
We both share, the community profits from it. Everybody happy.

The elite trader / hoarder comments are uncalled for in my opinion. It isn't 2005 anymore.

2005 was actually a very good sharing year.
I've almost got the entire QPR tour from that year, most of it was downloaded here.

I respect that, but I see that differently. I've had contact with a bunch of a-holes who promised a lot, but could not make their words reality. I also loathe comments like "I have show x but I can't share nor trade it".
I will re-upload part 1 of CD2 soon. Please give me some time.
Edit:
@Martin, Dennis: I agree completely. Maybe I should have said it differently. What I meant was: those people who tease us with a few samples of a rare recording and leave it like that. A great example is the Monterrey video. Or the 3 seconds samples of the Mexican Queen fanclub. I mean, what's their point?
As I said earlier: I, unfortunately, had contact with a few other people who did exactly the same. I just can't stand that :-) I must say, sharing this concert is a huge relief!
Also, don't get me wrong. I don't need any worship of some kind. All credits go to the taper! Plus, I wanted to do something in return, for all those great Queen collectors who shared something from their private collections.
In conclusion: hoarding is fine, to a certain extend. ;-)

I do understand what you mean.
But you seem to want the change, I want it, Rick wants it, Peter wants it, Bob wants it,.... If we can make YV and Scully join in.... Of course it will not be easy and of course there will always be people hoarding but the more we share the more other people will open up and share too. That's truly my believe.
I understand you have chosen a certain route(as a Queen fan you get forced because hoarding is the way things are, so I understand why and how this came about), and given the content of your post I get the impression you're not entirely happy with it. It might have brought you some rare stuff but is it in the end really satisfactory? Would it not be much cooler if we could share and discuss the music? With enthusiastic musicloving people. We're talking about a Queen community but that community has been dead for quite some time now. This messageboard is the best example. I'm really happy some people make it live again now. We just need more people, that's all.
We can be the people that built the Queen community, come on:-)

Well, I've been thinking about this too.
I appreciate your offer but maybe it's even a better idea to upload a Queen show(with Freddie) instead of QPR. I'd surely prefer that:-) Do you have anything that you think is interesting(not that common or a nice upgrade)from the boys with Freddie?

Hi, Rick!!!
Thanks a lot!!!
How are you? I hope you're doing fine.
Freddie's singing is so beautiful in the Leiden gigs! Even the vocal intros to Under Pressure have a different spin to them as he goes flawlessly through some classic operatic motifs and turns a funny interaction with the audience in a very moving and special moment too - his improvising, let's say, is full of lyricism and delicacy, which is a way of honoring both his craft and his audience.
And, wow!, poor me!!! I shouldn't be there among these great people, Rick! I just made some silly re-uploads of concerts which had already been shared on Queenzone and most people who come to the website already had. Many people do this by attending the requests posted on the board.
If there's someone who deserves the praise is dear Ginger01!!!! So, I'll just be humbly representing Ginger01 there with my name, ok? I'll be the French ambassador to Queenzone as I like Dafty a lot too. :-)))) Just for this post, French people may rest assured! :op
Thanks for the share, the kind words and, above all, let there be a lot of joy and peace. I wish you all a lot of peace and joy and a wonderful sunday!
Yara.

Hi Yara!
I'm fine, thanks. What about you?
Thanks for your lovely reply. Ginger, how could I have forgotten her?! You're absolutely right. I will change my original post immediately!
I also wish you a wonderful Sunday, well, for what's it worth (only a few hours remaining here, haha) :)

My post any ONLY my post was deleted from this thread. I was the second to last person to post in this thread at the time that it had disappeared, before Bokkepoot. Is this some kind of censorship?

I videotape concerts (queen related and non-queen related) to preserve musical history. Do you ever tape a show Raf? No you don't. Did Bob ever tape a show? No he didn't.
It doesn't matter who has taped what. That is completely irrelevant to this discussion. If you taped something, you can do as you please. But if you didn't tape it, you have no business creating the rules for who does and doesn't get to hear it, purely out of interest for your own trading gains, if the taper himself didn't create such restrictions.

You are one of the people who have the power to change it, even just a small bit. So it's time to chip in and share things that people actually want. If people like you would share your few gems, others will follow. We're a community, so everyone needs to do their part.

Yeah, until you weigh the value of each recording. There is little demand for these recent recordings in the grand scheme of things. The only "value" in a recording from 2005-08 is value you choose to create by deeming it to be rare and sought-after. However, the truth is, no recording from the last few years compares to a piece of history from 30+ years ago, and everyone knows it.

Hi, SirGH! How are you? I hope you're doing fine and had a great weekend.
It can't be official censorhip, I think. I'm not only sure that dear Your Valentine would never do it, but she herself was at a loss for what had happened - she replied promptly to users asking what had happened and said she'd contact Richard to fix whatever was the problem, which baffled her too!
Maybe you didn't mean official censorship by Your Valentine or Richard, but other people may get it wrong and interpret it in the worse possible way. Because both dear Your Valentine and Richard do a great job, which I deeply respect, I felt like writting it.
As always, I'm willing to edit it upon the wish of YV or Richard, if they don't see it fit or don't think it's helpful.
Again, I know it's likely not what you meant. I think we just have to be careful there when we talk about censorship because people may draw misguided conclusions which will only do harm to the community.
Thanks to Rick, again, to Your Valentine and Richard!
Take care, SirGH.

Hi, Rick!!!
Thanks for the reply. I'm doing. :) Is there this kind of answer in English? "How are you doing?", "Well, I'm doing". lol There's in Portuguese something similar, so I thought about giving it a try! It's supposed to mean: "I'm not really doing FINE, but I'm not feeling bad either." :)))) Oh, Gosh, I complicate things too much!!!
