According to sources within Freddie Mercury's family
and sources within the Queen management a CD with
(yet) unkown tracks will be put on the market.
It will be a CD with outtakes and a duet with
Michael Jackson.
Jackson apparantly went to London on
Saturday 12th January to finish at least one track
that he recorded with Mercury. The members of Queen
helped finishing this track.
If all things go well, the album will be released
on Universal Music at the end of this year. "
Thats what appeared on various websites on 15th Jan 2001.
and a quick denial from brianmay.com
1/"Ed: However, Brian May had already left for LA to embark on the final stage of the mixing of ANATO, so it is highly doubtful that he could have been in London. "

WACKO AND THE RUMOUR MILL
The latest rumblings about the Jacko/Freddie work coming out is sadly a pigment (whoops - 'figment') of the rumour mill. Officially refuted by Mr Beach.

Michael Jackson was in possession of the rights to the Beatles songs. Don't think they will suffer any money-problems...?
But it would be nice to have the Demo Collection...

I'd imagine Jim Beach will be pushing for them to be released now!

Benn, you're an idiot, what do you know? Queen and the jacksons did atleast 1 song together, a song called victory that would've been the title to the jacksons album of the same name.

This is what Greg Brooks said about it on the 2001 convention:
"- Michael Jackson tracks: Greg is positive that the tracks will eventually appear on a CD in some form, there is 1 track in the Queen archives: VICTORY, but they aren't allowed yet to release it! the track has all the queen boys singing backing vocals! "
"- Michael Jackson tracks: Greg is positive that the tracks will eventually appear on a CD in some form,

And I'm positive that the world will come to an end one day - I'll wait to see which happens first!!! [/img]

I don't know if anyone's seen it yet, but Brian May's new interview with Rolling Stone is interesting. He mentioned that there were '3 songs, possibly 4' that they were currently working on that has Freddie+MJ vocals on. Now I always knew there were definately 2 tracks with a third as a maybe. But what could the 4th one be? Never heard of any apart from TMBMTLTT, Victory and State of Shock. Maybe this is why the contract negotiations with the Jackson estate seem to be never ending??

Not as a maybe, but 'Victory's existence has been confirmed since 1984.
