Now I always knew there were definately 2 tracks with a third as a maybe.
Not as a maybe, but 'Victory's existence has been confirmed since 1984.
indeed, and not just that but we also have Peter Freestone on record here a little further in depth about "Victory," as can be seen in my video here:

As I stated openly here on QZ about 4 or 5 years ago, I have heard the Victory track from Freddie and MJ. It 100% exists. I do not own it so please don't ask, and there's NO chance that the fella who does will leak it, so we just have to hang tight and hope that it does get released eventually. It was played to me a good 10-13 years ago (perhaps slightly more), along the full soundboard "Time" live tracks, which included "In My defence". At the time, I was so gobsmacked, I could only just listen. I knew what it was, but I didn't take notes or anything, so I can't comment on stuff like track length, lyrics, ad-libs or even instruments - but it WAS Victory with Freddie and MJ. If I had known what I was about to hear that night, I would've had a tape recorder going in the background....or at least taken notes to justify my claims lol. You've only got my word for it, and I've no reason to expect you to believe it, but it was what it was. Hopefully, we do get it officially some day.

Brian's just given a US interview where he confirms that he, Roger and John never recorded with Jackson (which we knew) but that 'some of the tapes they (FM & MJ) used had us (Queen) on as well'.
I'd be interested to know if he just means they were both present on literally the same physical tapes - ie Freddie took a random reel with him to Jackson's to record onto and it happened to have some Queen sessions on, or whether he means FM & MJ recorded their vocals on a tape and then Freddie took the reel back to Queen and they put some parts down onto Victory there and then with an intent for it to be released around that time?

I was thinking the same. I imagine, the second one was more likely "I'll get Roger to add some parts" etc., doesn't seem that impossible. I mean, why would Freddie take a used reel to Michael Jackson's studio, surely he'd have them all bright and new there.
