There a while I didn't post on QZ due to a removal in Paris but I'll try to be forgiven soon (if I find something which haven't been uploaded)
I don't understand this part...
Looks like he used an online translation tool.

I didn't post to QZ for a while because I was sent  to Paris, but hope to compensate by finding
somehing that hasn't been shared before?

My guess anyway.

Where is the artwork for this?

Thanks to whoever made it.

A question for Pittrek:

Could you have made a slide show of this?

There are not enough pics for it. I remember when I tried to do something similar for Rainbow - the result was terribly boring

No no :) However I don't understand why it goes so slowly, the last torrent went about 100kBps.

Also I don't want to let my computer on when I'm not at home, since one of my earlier computers exploded :)
Thanks for your comments :) The pics I used for the Emperors of Japan artwork are actually from that night, as all the pics I use for my artwork, I always try to use pics from that especific venue... I'll keep searching for pics from that night at the Music Hall. Unfortunately, the pics maybe Vali took to do his artwork from this site http://www.rockrollphoto.com/gallery.php?artist=30&location=Boston+Music+Hall are all watermarked now (and they have low resolution)

Alex, didn´t you read my PM ?

I´ve checked it and yes, I used the same pics from that same site for my artwork ... had to remove the copyright marks manually and apply additional beauty treatment here and there .... I can send you  my edited pics if you wanna give ´em a try, so you can avoid removing the copyright marks, wich is a long and boring task !

I thought you've downloaded the pics without those marks! such a boring work as you said! you've done a wonderful job my friend and yes, I'd be really grateful if you could provide me of those pics you've edited so I can do some artwork for the audio share and this new one ;-)

Muchas gracias amigo!!

Hi mates!, sorry if my English isn’t fine…

This is a GREAT SHARE !!!!

Thanks VERY MUCH to Bob for the work on this gem !!!!!
Thanks VERY MUCH to pittrek for the share of this gem !!!!!

This a quality recording but it’s a pity it was recorded relatively distant from the stage/speakers, so it could be better :-)

Even in it’s 16 bit version IMHO this is one of the top best Queen audience recording until now, as well as Mannheim 86 "Done Under Pressure In Germany" (Gypsy Eye) and Vancouver 78 audience recording, even this recording sounds better than some closer to the stage recordings, for example better than Wembley 86 "A Day At The Stadium" (Kiss The Stone) cause the sound is a bit diffuse, although was recorded very close to the stage, and better than Osaka 85 "The Last Concert In Japan" (Masterport) audience recording, which distorts mainly in the percussions although I’m not sure if this is recording’s issue but the fact is that the sound is a bit unpleasant to hear

Boston recording
* Precise and well defined sound, clean, the hiss is difficult to hear, no distortion is present; please not to confuse volume level or closeness to the stage with definition
* Complete and rich sound: low, mid and high frequencies are present
* Balanced, voices and every instrument can be heard, although in some parts the bass definition was a little bit lost, but isn’t a recording issue, e.g. KYA
* The stereo effect is very limited, but anyway is a very enjoyable recording
* And I don’t doubt this marvelous 24/96 DVD version contains a very DEEP sound, which raise it to a higher level

TimBHM WROTE:
That's interesting - the original shares were written up as 16bit and 24bit. Can I ask a stupid quesiton? Why author this as a DVD-A, why not just share the remastered audio files? Does DVD-A offer something extra?

Hi, high resolution 24 bits audio files only can be played properly in equipment with 24bits/96 Khz digital to analog converters (DAC) or an appropriate card/motherboard, normally a DVD player or a Hi-Fi system meets those integrated circuits, this high resolution format is a huge improvement for any little ear-trained people, is much more rich in low and mid frequencies and gives a more precise highs and a more natural sound, a VERY enjoyable experience.

16 and 24 Bits Analog to Digital Converters/Digital to Analog Converters:

Signals in the real world are analog: light, sound, you name it. So, real-world signals must be converted into digital, using a circuit called ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter), before they can be manipulated by digital equipment. An ADC can take an analog signal such as an electrical current (a music tape in this case), and digitize it into a binary format. The key to get high resolution music is the transfer be done in a high resolution ADC. It has a sample and hold circuitry which take very narrow samples periodically of the changing analog signal and hold that samples for an adequate analog to digital conversion.

Whenever we need the analog signal back, the opposite conversion – digital-to-analog, which is done by a circuit called DAC, Digital-to-Analog Converter – is needed. When you play an audio CD, what the CD player is doing is reading digital information stored on the disc and converting it back to analog so you can hear the music. In other words a DAC turns a digital value in an analog waveform from the same proportion.

Precision on ADC's
If we would have an analog audio signal changing between 0 and 5 Volts (1 volt = 1000 milivolts)

A 16 bits/44.1 khz converter has a maximum resolution of 0.07629 milivolts and takes samples of the audio signal 44 100 times per second

A 24 bits/96 khz converter has a maximum resolution of 0.00029 milivolts and takes
samples of the audio signal 96 000 times per second

The maximum resolution is the smallest amount of audio signal (in milivolts) that can be measured by the converter. As the 24/96 converter divide the audio signal in more small portions therefore is much more precise and can to exhibit much more audio content, for this reason we have BIG sized files that only can be reproduced in DVD format or 24 bit capable IO cards/motherboards.

So while:
A 16 bits converter has a range of values assigned of          65,536 for each sample
A 24 bits converter has a range of values assigned of  16,777,216 for each sample

Cheers!

Ok my friend; I´ll send you the pics this evening, as I get home after work :)
From all the artworks I´ve made, this is probably the one I like the most , as I could really create something good with so few, little and difficult elements ..... but, of course, It will be a pleasure having your design too !! :D

ps: "a todos los que no creyeron en mí, que la sigan chupando!!"
