this DVD- V is absolutely lossless.
.
Nobody at this forum ever said the opposite, the files shared here are lossless, but if your dvd player don’t meet 24 Bits/96 Khz DAC’s, it will compress the files

And any DVD-V with PCM it's lossless
That’s true, but most DVD-V discs don’t use PCM as audio files

The advange of DVD-A is you could havelmultichannel lossless...DVD-V cannot reach that, nor go beyond 96...

Nope, as well
DVD-A specification support 192 khz as maximum sample rate frequency

Besides, without doubt, multipurpose (in this case video plus audio formats) equipment has built-in mediocre DAC’s with more distortion and more signal-to-noise ratio, etc. than dedicated AUDIO equipments, so in the latter a DVD-A recording will sound much better

???

well, ayone could read wikipedia and understand what she/he wants
DVD-A specification support 192 khz as maximum sample rate frequency : do you want more sampling rate??? ...well I'm not a bat, so can't hear beyond that

and most decent music DVD has PCM audio , with dts and Dolby in multichannel.
The main addvantage of DVD-A is you could have multichannel in lossless as well go beyond 96...well I wrote the same above, so there!!!

and even the cheapest DVD standalone player I remeber reach 96.
btw: most standlaones have 48 as default, so my advice is you go and check 96 in the menu or setting of your equipment.
Also many standalones have "dynamic compression" or whatever thing like thtat, so, go and check OFF it.

and if you have money (is not my situation) obviously you should buy what Farrokh The Great says, a DVD-A player.

Thanks to all the seeders, particularly the one that was giving me over 650kbs and got me to 85% in no time.  How  is this? I am back to 0.2kbs now LOL. I wish I understood what factors define the speed...........[/img]
Thanks Pittrek, Bob  and the seeders, I eventually completed and will 1:1

Is there some kind of menu on this?  A stange white rectangle moves up and down on my copy when arrows pressed.

Apparently this varies from one DVD player to another.  I'm no expert at authoring DVDs, so no doubt I didn't do everything properly.

That said, you should just be able to press enter and it'll play.
