I don't agree at all. I am one of his followers, and proudly so, and it is becauseI do regard him to be one of the greatest singers of all time. I can't really comment on the Freddie Mercury concert, since I've only seen bits and pieces, but the way he sings his own stuff is IMO extraordinary. His range, his unique pronunciation of certain words, his versatility, the emotion (such as rage) that he puts into his singing, his ability to dramatically speed up or to slow down and his tone all combine to make him IMO one of the greatest singers to have ever lived. I think he's an absolute freak.
Since you're gay it's o.k. for you to listen to and like a homophobic lead singer.
