YES, a small tour... including America :).
YES PLEASE!

Now, you're talkin'! ;-) Of course, if this happens and it's only in Europe, I'll be traveling to see it.
Taylor Hawkin's music isn't horrible, Niek! ;-P I totally get your point, though.
Here's the thing though: I think this type of show is exactly what Brian/Roger might need to convince themselves to do something similar on a widescale basis. They went out with PR and did their thing playing the "hits" to big stadiums. Perhaps they have an idea that this is all people think they are good for anymore.
And yet here they are guesting at a random little show to an audience of not-necessarily Queen fans playing totally obscure tracks and people loved it! They are both great performers - I think everyone agrees on that - they could go on stage and play anything and the crowd would eat it up.
I just think it will be real interesting to see what, if anything, this turns into. Taylor Hawkins obviously has big plans in mind!

I know I'm not the first one to point out the irony and "WTF" factor in them: a) performing such obscure tracks before a non-fan audience, and b) sticking to the hits in a fan-based audience,
but... What The Fuck?! O_O
Hopefully, Taylor Hawkins can convince them to do something on a bigger scale. Looking forward to it :).

Wow! That Tenement Funster video was one of the best things I have seen in ages! What a wonderful surprise. (and thank you to whomever posted it!) That ranks up there with any highlight from the Q+PR tour. Man, did that get me smilin'!

Little did I know that the only thing I had to do was go to London and sit through 2 hours of horrible Taylor Hawkins music so I could hear Brian and Roger sing and play Long Away, Sleeping on the Sidewalk and Tenement Funster to a crowd that isn't made up of Queenfans and would rather hear them play Tie your Mother Down and We Will Rock You.
How cool is it that they played ONE song from Sheer Heart Attack, ONE from ANATO, ONE from ADATR and ONE from News of the World? And none were widely known singles!
How much do you think they must have rehearsed for that performance? Now have Brian tell us why they couldn't have done this for the QPR tour.
Rehearse 4-6 fan favorite album tracks for the whole tour, play 2 or 3 each night. Alternate them. It's THAT easy, you know!

It does irk me that he is willing to go perform all these rarer tracks to a crowd who were not even there to see him. You would think that they would want to actually reward their fans with some rarer tracks. Oh well.

You're kidding yourself to suggest that the fans at the Scala weren't there to see Brian/Roger. Taylor Hawkins was barely scraping together audiences of 100+ in the States for his gigs just days prior to the Scala show. What do you think that they became an international phenomenon overnight? That show sold out because Queen fans suspected that Roger and Brian were going to show up so they bought up the tickets.
It was absolutely an audience of Queen fans - they just didn't happen to be at a Queen concert.

Absolutely. This is them a week before at the Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. The guys not busy singing and drumming have that "I'm playing for 15 people" vibe in a big way. And the 'crowd' at the end sounds pretty thin. The Shoe has a capacity of about 350 and I'd be surprised if it was a quarter of that. Audio is in and out, but the video is pretty good. For the sake of mankind, somebody must get working on isolating the gene responsibe for Taylor Hawkins' big perfect teeth.

The Foo Fighters are a lot bigger overseas than in the US. It doesn't surprise me that Taylor could fill a club in London that holds 1000 people given the Foos can fill Wembley two nights in a row. I highly doubt the majority of the people who attended were there on the off chance Brian and Roger would turn up.
