It didn't even occur to me that the Foos might be way more popular overseas.  How embarassing that I should be so America-centic.

In the end, no matter why anybody was there it's clear a club tour is at least in part a labour of love. Those guys just did not look that happy at that Toronoto gig.  Maybe it was the person taking video up in their face, maybe it was the small crowd.  It was on a Monday too, which must be the worst possible day of the week for a show.   Either way, it didn't look like it was worth the border hassle.

I feel like the Foos are pretty popular in America. i mean I know who they are and I know nothing about music post-1995!

Maybe not though - the saddest thing was seeing someone had hand written "of Foo Fighters" next to Taylor Hawkins name at the venue in Boston and it still didn't sell out (not even close!) It could be that people are only interested in Dave Grohl (because honestly aside from Taylor Hawkins, I couldn't name anyone else currently in the band).

Then again, look at the last question in this article (http://consequenceofsound.net/2010/04/19/interview-taylor-hawkins/). It doesn't look like Taylor was expecting the tour to be a big deal anywhere.

Based on the absolute frenzy both here and on QOL the day the show as announced, I'm sticking to my belief that there was at least a fair number of Queen fans in the audience.

I don't mind the album actually.  There's some good songs on there. It's funny that the song Your Shoes (I know it features Roger) reminds me a great deal of It's An Illusion from Roger's Strange Frontier Album.
