well I for one am very happy with this.
I went to the Friday show, so it will be nice to finally have it in full.

Just one question to all the folks unhappy about this :
How would you all have reacted if the Friday show had been shared here a few days ago, ya know for free ?
===================
Standing ovation! Not to mention all the great unreleased early takes on the Game and Flash Gordon reissues. Had those been shared here by collectors, there would have been pages of thank yous and comments.
Myself, I can't wait to watch the Friday show in its entirety. The band were in such a relaxed mood in the rain, and it was by far the better of the two performances.

Gary... could you tell me perhaps something about the friday show? Has the show always been in the archive? I had the idea the version on the original DVD has been just two or three camera's and the sound from the videofeed. Am I correct?
Was the full Friday show recently discovered? With 15 camera's documented in the archive? Did they use the oirginal master audio tapes for both nights for this release. Please help us with this mistery.
What can we expect? Camera Angle shots view available like on the orginal DVD?
Thanks

As to the release - FINALLY something worth buying this year, great work !
Is there any chance you could add all what you have from Knebworth ? It has also the 25th anniversary this year :-) Or maybe the TV reports from various Magic concerts ? Thanks pittrek, well spotted, I will try again.

Yes I think the image works now, well done pittrek.
To all those asking questions, just wait till the DVD comes out.

I don't think my questions of the mastertapes, the videofeed and if these tapes were recently discovered are on the DVD are they? Or is there also a new interview with Gavin Taylor on it?

What about this picture from Denis O' Regan! (Queen's official Tour photographer since Christmas 1975)
One of my favourites! I think looking at the clouds it's from the Friday concert! And Freddie's most iconic poses. On this pose the statue in Montreux must be inspired.

I have absolutely no idea on which "physical media" do they own the "masters" but please don't forget that e.g. VHS (just an example) has a "resolution" of 575 scanlines * 170 lines per scanline . The only way how to make a HD transfer of a video source is to STRETCH the video to 1920x1080 and that is exactly what your DVD player / BluRay player / HD TV will do
