Well, belive me or not but i have "Wembley" in many formats (Vhs,cassette,lp) but not in a propely dvd, so i think if it isn´t too expensive i will buy it!
For the people who said that wembley can be released on BR: for me if they upscaling wembley from video to Hd it doesn´t will look great cause the grain and natural "imperfections" on the video tapes will be increased to the double... or there´s some form of keep the "dvd" resolution -with high BR bitrate of course- on BR??

I got the original LP, the original "fatbox" CD and cassette.  I also got the original VHS and on VCD (although maybe not official).  I also got the 2003 CD with the same sleeve as before AND the 2003 CD which matches the DVD.  Of course, I had to get the DVD too.....and then the Japanese 2008 mini LP.   Do I want to but this new version?  Damn right! :)

Ditto.

Cheers and let us keep hoping for live and (dreaming here) studio new stuff from Bri+Rog to close this great year,

Well I'm not too disappointed, I thought we'd never get this show in full. The fact is we already have Earls Court / Houston / Hammersmith 75 in decent quality from bootlegs or TV broadcasts, hovever Wembley 1st night is mostly unseen!

I guess they didn't release the whole show in 2003 because the 2nd night was finally completed on that release (previously cut on the earlier VHS release) so releasing the full 2nd night and 1st the might have been considered overkill.

I have the original Live at Wembley Promo Bag which has CD,Casette,Press Release and Sweatshirt.
Have a similar one for Innuendo (allegedly given to those that attended a release party aboard a boat in montreux, tho dont know if thats true?)
Also have a promo Bag for Classic Queen with Cd,Press Release,Sweatshirt and Mug.

Whilst I'd obviously have preferred a 70's release, I've tricked my brain into treating this as a DVD release of a complete, previously unreleased and uncut show, which happens to come with a free bonus disc of the Sat show (with a new audio mix too). Looked at like that I'm quite happy with it as a 'filler' release before the good stuff.

I'm really hoping they've found the multitracks and sorted out Brian's guitar sound on the Sat - strangely the Fri snippets we already have feature a much better guitar sound even without much attention.

I also hope they've been able to create a good edit of the Fri footage, because the bits that were on the original Wembley DVD were far too centred on Freddie.

My opinion about (another) Wembley release...

GREAT!

I know we have got Saturday night on many many formats... But Friday... Absolutely GREAT!

And thanks to GT for uploading the cover, although the picture is the same, the cover looks AMAZING (because the pose of Freddie is AMAZING :-))

This will be good to see Friday's show

Whenever I have watched the little bit that we have, the band especially Freddie seem more relaxed

For me they're releasing friday concert with saturday as a bonus. So I'll buy it!
I want it all

I agree with "Cms Drums".

The Friday songs..on 2003 Wembley disk are too centred on Fred.( I think they ve got the same problem with Knebworth)

Hope that there will be a good edit, but I am thrilled anyway.

We have got a FULL SHOW ! Probably is not as good as Saturday show for cameras etc..but at this point who cares?

Let s go for it !

I'm surprised to see that there is actually something new on this new release... I might even buy it at some point (if the reviews here are positive), but I won't be rushing into the store.

It's possible that this release has actually been aimed at the fans because nobody else would really be interested in seeing the "same" show twice, but it's just as likely that they have already had the footage sorted out for the past 8 years, and are seeing this as the easiest way to re-sell the same product.

Now, if we have a 2dvd+2cd release of Live Killers next year, I will be more than happy to buy it immediately.

Finally something "new".
Not the most exciting release, but cant complain really. I will buy it for sure.
Just hope there will be some good extras and more from Knebworth!!!

Anyway, the future looks more bright when it comes to new releases, atleast thats the trend so far.

Pity there's no bluray release.  Although the improvement in video would be marginal, the improvement in audio would be worth it alone.  Bearing in mind they doctored Freddie's vocals so much on the original DVD release, I hope they don't do the same this time...

OK, i can accept the argument that on BD you'll have increased capacity and marginal increase in PQ and audio but not enough to warrant a release commercially.

What I would like to know is whether it's in the OAR of 4:3 like the orig release or butchered to 16:9, ala Greatest Hits 1 & 2
