A Wembley Weekend feature about the 2003 tour?!?!?!?!?!? How misplaced is that then! I wouldn't have put that on there. different era, different band.

What I would like to know is whether it's in the OAR of 4:3 like the orig release or butchered to 16:9, ala Greatest Hits 1 & 2
Hopefully it will be 4:3 like original. You would have more than a marginal increase in audio quality with a BD release. Bearing in mind the band's ethos was always not to accept second best - releasing this as DVD rather than bluray is doing just that...
A pity they haven't adopted the same approach that Neil Young did with his Archives - releasing them on CD, DVD and bluray - the latter to take into account both BD Live to download additional material and the far superior audio quality offered by bluray.

I just listened to the old bootleg from friday 11th at Wembley and I must say Freddie's voice is much better, though I like Brian's guitarwork from saturday

I wonder what overdubs would be featured in the friday show, if any

It's possible that this release has actually been aimed at the fans because nobody else would really be interested in seeing the "same" show twice, but it's just as likely that they have already had the footage sorted out for the past 8 years, and are seeing this as the easiest way to re-sell the same product.
Now, if we have a 2dvd+2cd release of Live Killers next year, I will be more than happy to buy it immediately.
^^ Well said

Now I think worth buying so-called new is not a new release of the concert at Wembley Stadium on 11 July and 12 July. If they released only on 11 July that I would not hesitate bought it

Itll be a good deal to buy it if you havent seen the Live At Wembley 1986 concert (but really : who hasnt???) The friday concert might (arguably) be better, and yes finally it will be released after a 8 year delay and that is what pains me most about this release. The simple fact that its another Wembley release. Im very suprised to see people raving and happy about this release - another 80's concert - "wow" :(
bless the day (that never seems to come) they announce Houston or Earls Court will be released .... to me the most interesting concerts the band did in the 70's (on video)

I'll get back to you after I download this thing.

Hey Guys,
What to you expect to see from the second disc?
- A Friday concert ( with three camera angles focussing mainly on Freddie)? As we have seen on the original DVD - Secretly filmed Rehearal footage? ( is this the same tape that was found in a shoebox in a garage or car? As we have see on the orginal DVD - The Wembley Weekend? Could this be the same scenes from 'Brian and Roger' that were on the orginal DVD? I love to see the complete backstage footage of Wembley, Knebworth and Mannheim shot by the Torpedo clowns. They probably save the Budapest footage for a later release DVD.
There are obvious reasons why QP didn't release the Friday concert in the past. However... according to Gregsynth the overall concert is much better than the day after.
